I am grateful to the Almighty because today He has chosen to give me a quiet day filled with chores.
Unlike the last two day which were filled with choosing WEDDING BANDS and getting MARRIAGE LICENSES today will be filled with simple chores and packing in preparation for our weekend getaway with Hilary, Izzy and Remi.

Originally the plan was to marry in May of '25 BUT the certificate that we are getting will only last for 60 days so why wait????

Tomorrow Charles will be here in Plainview and we will be looking for wedding bands!

Today is a quiet day filled with things like food shopping and after dinner COOKIE IN THE SUKKIE and a FaceTime with Charles who is coming home tomorrow. My clothes will go to the cleaners and my winter clothes will return.

Yesterday I was at services and Kiddush in the Sukkah too. I was able to read the newspapers and my book and talk with Karen, Margie and Dana. I went to dinner with Margie last night. We went to Mario's and caught up.
Charles landed in New Orleans and is now touring New Orleans and Boloxi where his cousins live.
I'm going for a manicure and a hair blow out later.
I hope to get to Athleta to cash in my gift cards for some cool clothes.
I'm also going to Sushi in the Sukkah at 5:00.
I hope to FaceTime with Charles later and watch the Dodgers slaughter the Mets.
It's a really good day and I'm grateful to the Almighty for this.

I came home yesterday from a lovely visit to Anita's where I dropped Charles off to begin his trip to New Orleans and Bolixi......he will be back on Tuesday.

I am grateful to the Almighty because today was the second day of Sukkos and I went to services. I didn't go yesterday because I was exhausted and quite cold because the temperature had dropped and my boiler wasn't working.
Freddy came after I called today and fixed it.
Services were wonderful and there was a delightful luncheon in the Sukkoh.
Charles will be here at 2PM. I will be driving him to Anita's as he and Anita and Elizabeth will be flying to New Orleans and Biloxi to visit relatives. He will be back on Tuesday and staying over at my house. Wednesday we will be taking our Bible class.
I also changed my H2O appointment to accommodate my class with Charles.

Charlie and I were at the Celebrate St. James Theatre Saturday night to see a wonderful presentation of Murders on Long Island. We had dinner in a Spanish restaurant called Sangria.Sunday night we went to the Smithtown Historical Society to hear a lecture on the history of Smithtown. In between we watched a Met game and a Yankee game and The Penguin.
Charlie really helped me to deal with issues with Hilary. He said the same thing as Judith. I am blessed to have him in my life.
Tomorrow I'm heading back to St. James because our course is starting.
I am so beyond grateful to the Almighty for all the good in my life.

Today is a day filled with chores!!!! I put a vacation hold on my newspapers as I plan my next "vaca"to my apartment with Charles. I read the newspapers. I washed the kitchen floor and I cleaned the pantry. I will be delivering a "good will package" to PJC later. I will go to the cleaning store, the post office to pay bills and then do some food shopping.
Dinner will be at home tonight and I hope to read.

We walked at The All Souls Church Walk and Run!!!!! We wore our M. and Mrs. Potato Head Costumes. I met my friend RoseAnn there. We went to St. James Day......what fun! We attended The Sports Book Club and Charles paid for a delicious lunch for me. We exercised......we walked......we practiced yoga. Charles walked Matzah. We watched baseball.
It was a glorious weekend.
