GRATEFUL FOR MY NEW SHABBOS

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a "New Shabbos."

last night Charles and I attended a Tu Bishvat Seder at PJC.  It was a lovely experience for me.

Today I attended services and came home to Charles' arms.  No longer do I have to walk at The Home Depot in sub-freezing temperatures.

We are eagerly awaiting tomorrow's blizzard.  Everyone canceled getting together at the apartment for Championship Sunday due to the weather forecast.....Charles will be with  me for the duration of the storm!

Tonight we are going to Mario's for dinner and tomorrow will be waking up to the storm in each others arms.

I am so grateful to the Almighty for my new life.

GRATEFUL FOR BEING WITH CHARLES

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I left for the apartment to be with Charles on Wednesday......and I had a wonderful time!

We had lunch with Rich and Betty in Port Jefferson at Pasta Pasta.  Thursday we walked at the Smithtown Mall and had dinner at La Tratoria.

I'm back in Plainview now.  Charles will join me at 5:00 to go to a Tu Bishvat Seder at PJC.  He will go back to the apartment tomorrow night before the blizzard.  He is hosting Championship Sunday.

I am grateful to the Almighty because at this stage of my life I'm having such fun.

GRATEFUL FOR AN OVERNIGHT WITH CHARLES

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has allowed me to leave TODAY for the apartment and to come back on FRIDAY.

After an exhausting day of cleaning and chores I will be driving to the apartment with Matzah who had a wonderful bath and checkup.  We will be going out to lunch with Charles' friends in Port Jefferson.  We will be taking his vehicle to the car shop rot be fixed on Thursday and go to the movies.  Friday we will be back at the house for the TU Bishvat Seder at PJC.

I am grateful to the Almighty for the fun days with a man that loves me.

GRATEFUL FOR LETTING GO

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me to let go of that which doesn't serve me and to heal.

I read in one of my meditation books yesterday that the abuse is gone....it's just your imagination thinking about it.  That made a great deal of sense and I'm working on it.

Today Matzah goes for his medicinal bath and I'm going to go to Athleta with my gift certificate.  I will also walk at The Home Depot.  I will read.  I will clean a bathroom too.

Life is good.

GRATEFUL FOR LOVING MYSELF

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a new and wonderful life and in the process taught and helped me to love myself .

Dinner last night was delicious. I made a turkey London Broil with seasoned noodles. We made plans for our Summer vacations and spoke to Dave and Roberta about joining us. Remi went to not one....BUT...three birthday parties.

Charlie went to play horseshoes this morning and let me sleep.

Oscar's men came to shovel the snow.

Charlie is taking me shopping before he goes home.

Mahjong was cancelled due to the storm.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all that He has given me.

GRATEFUL FOR A BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY

 I am beyond grateful to the Almighty for the beautiful Saturday night/Sunday that He has given me.

Saturday night it snowed.  Charles and I went out to dinner at Hama Sushi.  We then headed to Cinema Arts in Huntington where we saw the film....The Testament of Ann Lee with a discussion afterwards.   I haven't been there in years.  When I went with the Creature he would always ask me what the film was about afterwards and I would always say....I don't know.....   It was a pleasure to watch the film with Charles and discuss it afterwards.

We got 5 inches of snow today.  Charlie went to the butcher for me.   He is watching the playoffs and I'm reading.

I'm so in love with a real man.

Tonite I'm making a turkey london broil for dinner.

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a wonderful Shabbos.

Friday night with Charles was wonderful.

Services were good on Saturday.

We're getting wet snow no but we are headed to dinner and Cinema Arts later.

GRATEFUL FOR THE ALMIGHTY IN MY LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He is always in my life.

I am enjoying each and every moment of my new life.

Yesterday I got my hair colored and cu and had dinner with Margie.

I did have some scary news and that is that Charles' PSA number went up to 5.

Please Almighty don't let the love of my life get sick and by that I am prostate cancer.  I finally know what it is to love and trust someone.  I love Charles so much!

Please help!

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL DAY

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He gave me a wonderful day with Charles.

Charles and I had such fun yesterday.........we watched BBC News........we had incredible sex......I made a delicious dinner and we watched SINNERS on demand.

Charles left this morning but will return tomorrow night for the weekend.  I had my hair colored and cut today......did some chores and am meeting Margie for dinner later.

Life is so good and I'm grateful to the Almighty for all that He has done for me.

GRATEFUL FOR LISTENING TO MYSELF

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has taught me to listen to myself and believe in myself. 

Last night I played MahJong and I won 3 games.  We played at my house.  Matzah has medical issues because he is going to be 15 and Rhonnie questioned me about putting him to sleep.  Was he sad?  Was he hurting?  I told the ladies that I'm working with my vet and that was the end of that.  The Almighty has made me strong.

Today I have chores to do......a book to finish......The Home Depot to walk in ....another pleasant day.

Thank you Almighty for teaching me to listen to myself.

GRATEFUL FOR A JOYOUS LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a joyous life.

The weekend was wonderful and NOW Charles and I are beginning to plan our vacations.......that is what we do in January.

Tonight I'm playing Mahjong and I'm hosting.

New memories are being built and I am overjoyed.

GRATEFUL FOR LOVING MYSELF

Yesterday was Remi's eight birthday party.  It was held in Glendale at the Artistic Stitch Sports Complex.   Charles drove in the rain and it was a glorious day.

Today Charles went to Astoria to hang out with Dan and his sons at The Beer Garden.  I'm here enjoying my life and will probably take myself out for dinner tonight.  Margie cancelled because her cat had a bad night.  We rescheduled for Thursday.

I do hope to walk at The Home Depot after all the chores are done.

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the beautiful Sabbath that He has given me.

Shabbos dinner with my beloved was wonderful last night.  Services today were lovely.

Today is Remi's 8th birthday party. I'm beyond excited.  We got him Brain Rotes and a skateboard.

GRATEFUL FOR MOVING ON

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me to move on with my life.

My life is so much easier because of this.

I can't control what other people do.....like Dana...I just have to accept it and move on.

Tonight is the Sabbath and Charles will be here for dinner and the weekend.

Tomorrow I will attend services and go to Remi's 8th birthday party with my beloved husband.

Life is good.

There have been changes but thanks to the Almighty....I am moving on!!

GRATEFUL FOR SELF-ESTEEM

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me to raise my self-esteem and I'm proud of me.

I always had self-esteem at work because neither my Mother or the Creature could be there to destroy it.  However they tried to destroy EVERYTHING ELSE and as a result I was very insecure outside of school or work.

This has changed because of Charles' love for me and I'm seeing myself differently...I'm proud of me in many ways.

Thank you Almighty for helping me to raise my self-esteem.  My hope is that you will always be by my side.
