GRATEFUL FOR CHARLES

 I am grateful to the Almighty for sending Charles into my life.

I am grateful for his love.

I am grateful that Rabbi Conn approves.

Yesterday was the yard sale and Charles's sisters made me feel like family even giving me a Ganish to take home.

We were going to go out to dinner but I made dinner and lit candles too.

Today I was so exhausted that I stayed home from services.

 Charles went to finish up the yard sale and I just relaxed and processed my new life.

I am so grateful to the Almighty for the gifts that He has given me.

GRATEFUL FOR LEARNING ABOUT MYSELF

I am grateful to the Almighty because each day He has helped me to learn about myself.

I feel myself  changing each day into a more normal person that involves themselves with others.....that has friends....a boyfriend......entertains and fits in.

Today I am working at Charles's family garage sale.

I'm excited and happy.

GRATEFUL FOR THE DAY

 I am grateful to the Almighty fo giving me this new day.

I am healthy.

I am happy.

Margie met Charles yesterday. She had come over because I invited her to participate in Garage Dining which turned out to be a huge success even though it was cold and cloudy.  He had dinner with me and I invited him to sleep over.  He is going home this morning and I'm going to be busy with therapy, shopping etc.  He will be back tonight until Monday.

Life is so good and I am grateful.

GRATEFUL FOR WAKING UP

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I woke up to enjoy the day.

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has seen fit to make me a healthy and happy human being.

He has given me a wonderful family, good friends and a boyfriend.

He has given me a dog.

I'm thinking about all these things as I wake up!!!

Today I'm hosting Driveway Dining in my garage.

I'm practicing yoga.

Charles is stopping by on the way home from Mineola.

Thank you Almighty for allowing me to wake up healthy and happy.

GRATEFUL BECAUSE MY HOME LIVES

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has allowed my home to live.

I cleaned my house for years as if it was a museum.

Friends now come, grandkids and my children come and Charles is in my house.

My home breathes with life and then with memories.

I am so grateful to the Almighty for this.

GRATEFUL FOR MIRACLES IN MY LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the miracles that are in my life.

Thank you so much Almighty for bringing Charles into my life.  This has so enriched my life and I'm so grateful....

This morning Charles went home BUT not before practicing yoga with me!!!

What an amazing gift this is.

Today I'm having dinner with the girls and playing MahJong.

GRATEFUL FOR VISITING OUR CHILDREN

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He sent Charles into my life.

Yesterday was an amazing day.  I attended services.  We explored parks.  We walked. He took me to La Piazza for dinner.

Today we are visiting our children and my grandchildren........more later!!!!!

OMG!!!  What an amazing day.  Charles drove happily to Queens for Remi's soccer game and then to Brooklyn to meet up with Seth, Dana, Madalyn and Michael!!!

We came home to go out for Mexican food!

Thank you Almighty for bringing this man into my life to make these things possible.

GRATEFUL FOR THE WONDERS OF MY LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty for all the wonders of my new life.

Yesterday Gabrielle blew out my hair and I practiced yoga.

Charles and Freddy met each other and I wasn't even home.

Charles and I attended Christine and Patrick's Zoom wedding.

I made Sabbath dinner and said my prayers too.

Plans were confirmed with Dana and Hilary.....for Sunday.

I'm off to services.

Life is so good.

I am so grateful to the Almighty for the wonders of my new life.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL LIFE

I am so grateful to the Almighty for the wonderful and balanced life that He has rewarded me with.

I went through psychological abuse and now I have been saved by the Almighty.

I hope that I make the Almighty proud of me.

Charles will be arriving at 1 for the wedding of his niece which we are going to Zoom. I will have already had my hair blown out and have practiced yoga.

Sunday we will see Remi play soccer as well as hook up with Dana, Seth and my little Madalyn. We will see Michael and Lola too.

I am grateful for being included as part of a family too.

GRATEFUL THAT I AM BALANCED

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has made me a balanced human being.

I am now balanced in mind body and soul. Yesterday was an example of this.....WORK and PLAY! I went to a Driveway Dining at Ronnie's house.  I cleaned.  Freddy came to begin the process.....

Today will be the same with Freddy coming...food shopping and H2O coming to turn off my sprinkler. I'm going for a manicure later and its only 8AM and I've already spoken to Charles twice

GRATEFUL FOR THE JOYS IN MY LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty for all the joy in my life.

There was no entry yesterday. Charles was leaving and OMG we were having so much fun that for the first time since I have kept this blog......there was no time!!  After he left there were phon calls to make and FaceTimes and then Freddy came over to begin work today!!!!

I have a Driveway Luncheon at Rhonnie's today and I will be practicing yoga at 6.

I made Italian chicken for dinner for us last night.  It was delicious.

 I am grateful to the Almighty for all the joy and laughter in my life.

Charles will be at my house this afternoon. He will be staying until Monday!!  Karen and Bob are coming over to hang out.  Karen was the reason that I met Charles and they have not seen each other since 1997!!!

I smile all the time.  I laugh.  I'm enjoying life!

GRATEFUL FOR BEING HAPPY

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has rewarded me with happiness.

I spoke to Charles last night who is in the Catskills at the cabin and will be home tomorrow. I am boarding Matzah from Friday November 6 and picking him up Monday November 9 in the afternoon.  I will be with Charles in St. James.

All day I was smiling.

Thank you Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR MY RESILIENCE

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has chosen to make me a resilient human being.

This has allowed me to survive.........and meet Charles.  Charles who called me family yesterday at the funeral of his mother.........something that the creature NEVER said to me......I wasn't family.....I was only a plaything to abuse.

Yesterday I felt like a member of his family as I met everybody....friends......family and children and sat next to him and held hands in church.

I am so glad that I spoke with Rabbi Conn on Shabbos who told me that I had suffered a great deal and this was my reward.

Today I'm going to Doris's house for our Wednesday luncheon. Charles is going upstate to the Catskills to a friends cabin.

I will be practicing yoga later and possibly eating out........

GRATEFUL FOR ACCEPTING CHANGE......

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I can accept change and wait until I decide whether the change is good or bad for me.

This is big because rather than accepting everything I have learned to question and explore rather than accept because I don't feel good about myself.

GRATEFUL FOR LETTING GO!!

 I am grateful to the Almighty because slowly I am letting go of that which doesn't serve me and moving on.

Yesterday was a wonderful day filled with reading, relaxing and walking.

Charles and I went to Pasteria for dinner and Noah the waiter told Charles how happy he was for us.

Today Charles will clean out mom's house again and I will clean this one.

I will practice yoga too!

Tonight I hope to play Mahjongg with the girls.

Thank you Almighty for helping me to let go.

GRATEFUL FOR THE JOY IN MY NEW LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty for all the joys in my new life.

Yesterday Charles went to his mom's house to begin the process of cleaning the house out. I went to services and walked from 3-5PM.  How can I explain the joy of coming home and finding pumpkins and plants running down my steps??  How can I explain the joy of Yon Tov dinner with him in the dining room as I said my prayers?

How can I explain the joy of waking up with him in the morning?

These are the normal joys.......but my life has not been like that.

I am grateful that the Almighty rewarded me with this man.

GRATEFUL FOR WONDER AND CURIOUSITY

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a wonderful, healthy, and happy new life that has allowed my sense f wonder and curiosity to grow.

I no longer have to have strategies for safety and security so I can be peaceful looking at the world around me.

Charles is here for the next few days.  His mom has died and he is helping his sisters clean out the house. I've been invited on Tuesday to the funeral and have been designated a 'serious girlfriend.'

On Tuesday I will meet everyone!!!!!!

Today I'm off to PJC having lit candles yesterday and had a Shabbos dinner with Charles.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all that He has done for me.

GRATEFUL FOR THE CHANGES IN MY LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty for all the changes in my life.  My heart swells with joy just thinking about it.  I have good health, friends, family and now Charles.

Charles will be arriving this afternoon and spending the weekend with me.  My heart is so happy. He will be doing the Sabbath with me. He won't be going to services BUT he will be respectful of the ways that I observe Sabbath in the home.

I can't begin to describe how much fun we have and how grateful I am that the Almighty has chosen him for me.

My family and friends all like him too.

I am grateful to the Almighty for this blessing.

GRATEFUL FOR THE PRESENT

 I am grateful to the Almighty because he has given me a wonderful present!!

I had a really fun day with Charles yesterday.  We walked at Sunken Meadow and had what I like to call, "a French picnic" complete with wine and cheese.  I watched the Vice Presidential Debate last night and was very impressed with Kamala.

Today I will speak with Judith.......go food shopping and get a mani/pedi.

The present is wonderful and I am grateful to the Almighty for it!!!

GRATEFUL FOR AN AMAZING LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the amazing life that I am having and all the fun that I'm having.

Yesterday Charles took me to the beach in Stony Brook and I was able to meditate overlooking Long Island Sound.  He treated me to Chinese food for dinner. 

I drove to and from St. James and came home in the dark!!!  I was able to call and text friends and actually got to watch Lovecraft Country as well as the news!!!

Today we are going to Sunken Meadow and having a picnic lunch!!!  Double Wow!!

I am beyond grateful to the Almighty for my new life.

GRATEFUL FOR PLAYTIME

 I am grateful to the Almighty for all the playtime in my life.

Charles left yesterday BUT not before breakfast and the book club he had invited me to join......the Sports Book Club. It's a book club with all guys and me!  We read The City Game which dealt with a basketball scandal at CCNY in 950-51.  It was really good and I've already ordered the next book.

I had dinner with my friends at Pasteria and we had played Mahjong at Rhonnie's.

I'm switching my checkup to January because I'm still eating chocolate!!!

Today I'm driving out to St. James to place my toothbrushes in his apartment!! I'm very excited.

Tonight is my Sisterhood Zoom meeting.

Chores are getting done!  The house is being cleaned. Bills are being paid and I am happy!!

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL NEW LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the wonderful new life that I have.

Yesterday Charles and I explored the old neighborhoods that we lived in discovering how close we lived to each other.  Smoking, grass, laughing, hanging out......were our next activities!!

Today we have a morning book club and then Charles is going home with me to follow tomorrow.

Today I will clean house.......have dinner with the girls and play Mahjongg!!!

GRATEFUL FOR SHANTI

 I am so grateful to the Almighty because there is Shanti or peace and calm in my life.

Today is the first day of Sukkot. I will be going to services.

I will also be hosting the first day of Sukkot on my deck. My children and grandchildren are coming.  Charles will be meeting everyone for the first time.  I made salads, chicken, broccoli, spinach and potato souffles.  

My heart is so filled with joy and peace.

I am grateful to the Almighty for this.

 I am grateful to the Almighty for all the laughter and smiles in my life.

The Almighty has sent me a wonderful man who brings all of this out in me.

Today I will practice yoga, speak to Judith and have my hair blown out. I need to purchase fruit in Happy Farms for tomorrows luncheon too.

Tomorrow my family will meet my boyfriend.

GRATEFUL FOR FAITH IN THE ALMIGHTY

 I am grateful to the Almighty for making me a strong woman.  I never lost my faith in the Almighty. I prayed with all my heart and soul that the Almighty would give me happiness and He has. I am beyond grateful.

He has sent friends.  Yesterday I hosted a Driveway Luncheon and Charles came.  It was wonderful and I was so so proud to be his girlfriend.

Then we practiced yoga at Absolute Yoga and again I was proud to be his girlfriend.

We had dinner at Pasteria too.

Today I will go food shopping.  My daughters and their families will be here Saturday and again I will be proud to show Charles off.

I am so grateful to the Almighty for my new life.
