I am grateful to the Almighty for the strength and the knowledge that He has given me.
I might have been wrong about Charles....he did text.....he did call....maybe I was wrong.
Life was made to have fun and so that is exactly what I'm going to do.
I will be at Charles's home for the weekend.
Life is not Disneyland and I will be careful.

I am grateful to the Almighty because due to conjunctivitis I have been able to see life more clearly.
My eyes are slowly getting better.....
As a result of conjunctivitis I am seeing Charles more clearly. He went up to the cabin yesterday with Frank and Dan and never bothered to call in the evening to see how I was doing or to say goodnight. It means that he thinks only of himself.
This is something to consider as I move forward.
Funny because I have conjunctivitis, I am looking at this with my eyes wide open.

Today is Charles's birthday. As a gift I am taking him to Montauk for a vacation!!!! We are staying at the new Gurney's Inn which previously was the Montauk Yacht Club.
It is my joy to do this BOTH for him and me!!!
I will be away until May 24th and will tell you all about it when I return.

Last night when the weekend ended and Charles left to go home, I was triggered by a feeling of regret....which could have grown if I had let it. I didn't!!! I immediately thought about all the joys in my life and I smiled and moved on.
Charles is the first person that I texted today as I'm getting ready for services. It's Shavout!!!

We went to Dueling Pianos t Plainview Jewish Center and Charles got up and sang Charlie Brown!!! We had dinner with Rhonnie, Hank, Barbara and Joel too.
Today we were invited to lunch at Alice's house and I had a wonderful time.
We also visited his sisters to pick up my sun glasses that I left there last week.
After Charles left I had a moments trigger of sorrow that this hadn't been my whole life but that was quickly banished and I enjoy the joy of the weekend.

I'm always looking at the past and planning the future. While intellectually I'm in the moment, I'm never there completely.
I have learned this week because of the craziness with Dr. Vezza that the present is all that we have and to enjoy it.
The end result of my issue with Dr. Vezza is that I'm going to see a cardiologist. I've been there before for a"report" issue BUT now at my age it's really time to see one. Nothing is wrong BUT I have an appointment for July.
I saw Dr. Fracassa yesterday for an eye checkup and nothing has changed. I did order new glasses from EYEGLASS HOUSE which are really pretty.
Today I will practice yoga, get Matzah groomed and go food shopping.
I hope to walk too.

Today is a busy day filled with Dr. LoPinto, my eye doctor, Perillo the boiler company checking the boiler, errands, practicing yoga, reading, walking, and attending by Zoom.....the Sisterhood Book Club......where I haven't finished the book because I've been so busy.
Thankfully, the Almighty has seen fit to give me a busy life and for that I am eternally grateful.

I spoke with Dr. Vezza yesterday. We will again be speaking on Thursday after he conferences with the doctor who did my CT SCORING. There might be an issue.....there might not!
Meanwhile I played MahJong last night after a great dinner at Pasteria and I lost!!!
Today I will know Charles 9 months! I'm practicing yoga and later in the day speaking with Kyra and doing some chores and reading.
I don't have to be perfect. I just have to enjoy what God gave me.

Although it is a dreary one, weather wise, I wake up with a smile. I text Charles and say "hi" to Matzah and that starts my day.
It is peaceful and quiet in my home. I can think back to yesterdays activities........yoga.......walking...chatting with friends.......reading......Sisterhood meeting and smile.
Today I will be picking up my summer clothes from storage. I've got a Calcium Scoring CT scan scheduled also. Tonight I will practice yoga in Leslie's class.

Yesterday I practiced yoga in Leslie's class and had Louis blown my hair out.
I drove to St. James and Charles and I practiced Goat Yoga at the Smithtown Historical Society and laughed the whole time!!! I came home to light candles and serve Sabbath dinner.
Today Charles rode his bike and I went to services.
We are hanging out this afternoon and going out to dinner later.
