From Joni Mitchell with Karen and Bob to Napper Tandy with Kenny Forgione to being back in Plainview for lunch with Michael to Anita's house for dessert.....it has been a wonderful weekend.
I am grateful to the Almighty because my checkup was a good one.

I need to work on seeing the joys in my life and not the things that didn't work out. I need to stop pleasing those who really don't care about me and move on. We had a wonderful day yesterday. We slept late and went to The French Connection for brunch. We hung out all day and I treated Charles to dinner at LemonLeaf Grill. We watched 2 episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm too.

The fall where I hurt my left wrist allowed me to understand that I am older and as such need to stop multitasking. I can do things slowly. My goals are simple.....to make myself happy and calm. I am safe and secure and in love. Life is good...
As such, I have created new routines. I get up later. I watch television. I read the paper and I do a few chores. I speak to friends. I play MahJong. I read. I speak to Charles.
My new routines are calm and quiet.

I spent an incredible weekend with Charles.
We celebrated Hilary's birthday by letting Izzy, Hilary and of course Remi visit us at the apartment which they really liked. We went to the St. Patrick's Day Parade and to a Ramen restaurant which delighted Remi as he followed Bella the Robot all around. Remi loved the parade.
Charles and I watched 2 films this weekend which both won Academy Awards..... The Holdovers and Poor Things.
I love Charles and with each passing day my love grows deeper and stronger.
