GRATEFUL FOR MY RESILENCE

I am grateful to the Almighty because He saw fit to make me a resilient woman.

I am a schedule daily of things to do during Covid 19. 

I am now getting ready for Pesach.  I've done my shopping and although I will be having Seder by myself, it will be a joyous one.  I have the tape that Cantor Wolk made for me so many years ago that I love and cherish.

I will enjoy singing each piece.   No one will mock me.  No one will tease.  No one will psychologically abuse me.  There will just be peace and calmness.

Thank you Almighty for making me a resilient woman.

GRATEFUL FOR MY STRENGTH

I am grateful to the Almighty because He made me a strong person.

I am getting through this Coronavirus one day at a time.

Yesterday my major activity was to go to Fairway.  There was almost no one in the streets or in the store.  I got what I needed.  I put gas in the truck and home I went.

Today my major activity is to clean the house.

I'm healthy.

I'm safe.

I'm grateful to the Almighty for this.

GRATEFUL FOR ORGANIZATION

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has made me an organized person.

In this time of Covid 19 that really helps.

Today I will get out of the house to go to Fairway.  I will be careful NOT to be close to people.

GRATEFUL FOR MY HEALTHY LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty for my healthy life.

Today is the Sabbath.  My abuser is gone and I can breathe.

Living through the Coronavirus is horrific.  Yet I am at peace because no one is alive to abuse me. There are no strategies for survival.  There is no psychological abuse.   It's just me and Matzah.  The house is my home.  I don't have to escape from it.

I walk with friends.  I chat with neighbors.  My family is on FaceTime with me.  I read.  I watch television.  I talk to friends on the phone.

It's quiet.

It's peaceful.

In the middle of a Pandemic I'm safe.  That's how bad it was and how good it is now.

Thank you Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR MY HEALTH

I am grateful to the Almighty because I am surviving the Coronavirus or Covid 19 with good heath.

I have friends to walk with and chat with daily.

I have Remi and Madalyn on FaceTime.

I have activities and enjoyment.

The abuser is dead.  There are no longer strategies for survival.

There is a good life.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all this.

I am grateful to the Almighty for the feeling of safety in my home.

Yesterday my water heater broke and Freddy went with me to The Home Depot to order another one.  I am truly blessed.  It should be installed today.

Thank you Almighty for this feeling of safety during this horrible CORONAVIRUS outbreak.

GRATEFUL FOR PEACE AN QUIET

I am grateful to the Almighty because there is peace and quiet in my life.

We can ONLY go to food stores and pick up medicine because of the CORONAVIRUS.  Otherwise we should stay home.

Imagine if my abuser was alive and that was the regulation?

I am grateful to the Almighty because I continue to learn about my inner self.

This self had to be hidden from my abusers for years BUT NOW it can come out in joy because I can connect the OUTER ME with the INNER ME.

GRATEFUL FOR SEEING MY TRUE SELF

I am grateful to the Almighty because each day I get to see a piece of my true self.

I am happy, healthy and content.

I laugh a great deal.  It am still the same organized, structured and motivated person that I always was but now I do things calmly.

Take today for example.  I practiced yoga.  I walked at The Home Depot.  Then I did some chores culminating with the cleaning of the entire house.

Tonight I will go to Pasteria with my MahJong friends and play in my home.

I am grateful to the Almighty for teaching me about myself.

GRATEFUL FOR THE JOYS OF A NEW LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty for all the joys in my new life.

I am grateful for the peace....the quiet and the tranquility of my life.

I don't have to wake up with fear or strategies for survival.

Surprisingly enough understanding the joy and peace of life was the theme of Doreen's yoga class.  I walked at The Home Depot.  I shopped at Trader Joe's.  The truck got gas.  I got a manicure and bought a present for a Bris that I was invited to next Sunday.  The truck got washed.

Life is peaceful, quiet and joyful.

GRATEFUL FOR BEGINNING TO UNDERSTAND MY TRUE SELF

I am grateful to the Almighty because I practiced yoga yesterday in Elyse's class and I'm beginning to take care of my TRUE SELF.

I'm learning to understand myself and my needs.

I'm showing myself compassion.

I'm learning to stand up for me because I love myself!!!

GRATEFUL FOR CONTENTMENT

I am grateful to the Almighty for the contentment that I feel in my life.

I am healthy.  I am happy.  I'm not envious of others.  I have friends, activities and joy.

Yesterday I ordered a dishwasher with my friend Karen.  I also bought new telephones. There was so much laughing between the two of us.  She makes a wonderful friend.

Freddy will come to hook up the phones.  Michael picked up my taxes.  Life is good and I am really happy.

Today I will again practice yoga and walk at The Home Depot.  I have my Tuesday lunch with the ladies and tonight is Yoga with Sisterhood.

I am grateful for this new feeling of contentment.

GRATEFUL FOR LET IT BE

I am grateful to the Almighty because when I practiced yoga in Doreen's class yesterday she talked about OBSERVING, ACCEPTING and then LETTING IT BE.......

That will be so helpful to me as I continue on my new road.

Today I will practice yoga in Margaret's class Hopefully Karen will be able to come so that we can order a new dishwasher.......more later!

Karen was able to come.  I ordered a Kitchen Aid dishwasher and phones from P.C. Richard. The dishwasher will be delivered on Thursday March 12 and the phones will be put in by Freddy.  Karen checked the phone lines too.  Michael picked up my tax statements.

I am grateful to the Almighty for these people in my life.

GRATEFUL FOR THE JOY IN MY LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty for all the new joys in my life.

Yesterday I sponsored the Cholent Kiddush in honor of the birth of my granddaughter Madalyn Bean.....

Today I will be practicing yoga in Doreen's class.

I will then go to PJC and help to pack the Purim baskets.

I will walk at The Home Depot too.

I will put gas in the truck and go to Fairway. I'm making salmon for dinner.

Michael will get my tax material.

I will read, talk to Karen and relax.
