Last night I went to La Parma with Charles.  The food was delicious.

GRATEFUL FOR A SABBATH DAY

I am grateful to the Almighty because I awoke to a beautiful Sabbath day.

Charles woke me up and I went to services.  It felt good to be back at PJC.

GRATEFUL FOR THE SABBATH

 I am grateful to the Almighty because tonight is the beginning of the Sabbath.

I will be practicing yoga and getting my hair blown out.

Charles will be having Sabbath dinner with me.

Plainview Jewish Center will be open tomorrow and I will be going to services.

This is the beginning of a wonderful day. The sun is shining.

GRATEFUL FOR A BEAUTIFUL DAY

 I am grateful to the Almighty for a beautiful day.

Yesterday I walked at The Home Depot and I practiced yoga.  I did my chores.

Today I will be driving to St. James to spend the day with Charles!!!!

I'm so excited.......

Later:  It was an amazing day with Charles.  I drove to St. James and parked in the lot.  I went up to his apartment to see what a beautiful job he had done with the sports book case, coffee table, kitchen table, and end table.   We went to Stonybrook and walked at the beach for about 1 1/2 hours. Then he took me to lunch in a Japanese restaurant.  Delicious!!!!!!  I drove home in the dark.....very proud of myself and spoke to him as the last thing that I did before bedtime!  Wow!

It was Purim and thanks to technology I was able to listen to the Megillah on my I-PAD.

What a wonderful day.

GRATEFUL FOR A LIFE'S PARTNER

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has sent me a wonderful life's partner.

I truly know what joy and fun are.

I made tuna for dinner last night and then we played BINGO on Zoom with Sisterhood. It was loads of laughs even though we lost.

Charles left this morning after breakfast to have lunch with Dan and buy paint for his apartment which Dan is painting.  It's a joy to me that he has friends.

I called Michael because tax season has begun.

Today I hope to walk, food shop and practice yoga.

I will be driving out to St. James tomorrow.

Life is amazing thanks to the Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR INNER HAPPINESS

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the inner happiness inside myself,

Yesterday I practiced yoga with Charles.  Leslie spoke of waking in the morning and having negative feelings like sadness.......I realized that this happens to me also.

She spoke of allowing the happiness that is inside each one of us to shine.  It does not shine because of what you purchase but the joy of life.

That is what I'm doing this morning.

Today I have errands to do and I hope to get a manicure/pedicure.....

Charles will be here for dinner and then to play Sisterhood Bingo and sleep over.

Life is good.

GRATEGUL FOR A WONDERFUL WEEKEND

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the wonderful weekend that I had with Charles.

We ordered a new kitchen table at Ethan Allen.   It's beautiful and it will arrive in 12 weeks!!! We also went to Bed and Bath for a picture frame and to the butcher.

Charles napped.  I read....... it was wonderful.

We watched Allen and Farrow on HBO together in my new beautiful den too.

Today we will practice yoga.  Charles will go home.  I will clean and play Mahjong tonight.

It's a wonderful life.

GRATEFUL FOR NEW ADVENTURES

 I am grateful to the Almighty for all of my new adventures.

Yesterday was a really nice Sabbath.  I said my prayers. Charles's friend Dan visited because I had gotten him Covid vaccine appointments and he came to pick up the paper work.  Charles and I arranged pictures for his family wall at home.  Then we looked at a bag of funny gifts. Matzah went for a walk and we took pictures.  Dinner was at Morrison's.

Today we began the day by Charles and Matzah watching tennis.  We will be looking for a kitchen set today and I will be making dinner.

It's like an "UNMARRIAGE" and it's wonderful.

Thank you Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR THE SABBATH

 I am grateful to the Almighty because today is the Sabbath.

It will be a beautiful day.  The sun is shining. Charles is shoveling snow.

We will have a wonderful calm and  quiet day.

His friend Danny is coming over because I made him a COVID vaccine appointment.

We will go out to dinner.

Life is quiet and peaceful.

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the life that He has given to me!!!!

Yesterday because of the snow storm I actually stayed in my pajamas all day and relaxed. NEVER IN ALL THE YEARS OF THE SO CALLED MARRIAGE COULD I DO THAT!!!!

Santos will be here to shovel.

Charles will be here for the weekend to play!

GRATEFUL FOR A SNOW DAY

 I am grateful to the Almighty because it snowed today.........not yesterday!

Yesterday was an amazing day.  I spoke to Judith and then drove out to Charles in St. James. His apartment is really shaping up.......it's going to be my summer home!!!  He got new windows and new doors and is getting siding and a balcony.  He took me to West Meadow Gate in Setauket where we were able to walk on the beach!!!  To celebrate his shot (which I scheduled) he treated me to wine with a Greek lunch.

I came home to have my hair blown out.....practice yoga and attend my Sisterhood Book Club on Anxious People.

TODAY IS A MAJOR 2 DAY SNOWSTORM!!!!!

I woke to bring up the garbage can and newspapers and fell back to sleep until 11:00.

I will spend the day relaxing and chatting with friends.

Thank you Almighty for the gift of a snow day.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW DAY

 I am grateful to the Almighty for this BEAUTIFUL AND COLD new day.

I am alive.

I am healthy and happy.

Charles did not have any side effects from yesterday's COVID shot so I am heading out to St. James this morning to spend the day with him.  I will return to a hair blow out appointment by Gabriella and practice yoga with Leslie.  I'm ZOOMING in on a book discussion of ANXIOUS PEOPLE with Sisterhood later.

All my shopping and paying bills was done yesterday in anticipation of the snow storm tomorrow. Santos has already been called.

I AM READY FOR THE STORM!!!!!!

GRATEFUL FOR THE LIGHT IN MY LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty for bringing light into my life.

Charles left yesterday after we practiced yoga in Leslie's class. What a gift it is to find a man who practices yoga!!!

I came home to clean the house.  The plan was to food shop tomorrow because I'm driving out to St. James tomorrow and there is another storm coming on Thursday.

The plan changed when I took a break from cleaning to play on the computer and opened the CVS web site and got an appointment for Charles at CVS in Bethpage for Covid vaccines.

He is arriving here this morning to get his shot!

Then I will food shop.

I am grateful to the Almighty for the light and miracles in my life.

GRATEFUL FOR A VALENTINE WEEKEND WITH CHARLES

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I had the most wonderful Valentine weekend with Charles.

Yesterday we set up the den so that we could play Monopoly.  We had awesome fun and couldn't stop laughing.  I made chicken for dinner and Freddy had vodka and tequila.

Today we will practice yoga and Charles will go home.

I will be in St. James on Wednesday.

I am grateful to the Almighty because He allowed Charles to take me to receive the first COVID shot.

GRATEFUL FOR A VALENTINES WEEKEND

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I am having an amazing Valentine's Weekend with Charles.

He came and surprised me with a boutique of flowers.

Then I lit candles and we had Sabbath dinner.

Today I will be going for my COVID shot but he will be with me.

Thank you Almighty for sending this man to me and for this wonderful weekend.

GRATEFUL FOR THE VACCINE

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He is allowing me to get the first Covid vaccination tomorrow.

I'm going to Kissena Blvd.........right where I grew up!!!!!!!

Charles will be spending the weekend with me and driving me there.

I am beyond grateful to the Almighty for all that He has done for me.

GRATEFUL FOR A DAY WITH NO ERRANDS

 I am grateful to the Almighty because today is a day with no errands.

 Yesterday was a wonderful day with Charles.......today began with the two of us texting each other.

 I got an appointment for the COVID 19 shot on Saturday, February 13 at 5:15PM and Charles is taking me.  It's where I grew up.

Today Santos is again coming to shovel and Freddy will be here to fix my printer.

Life is quiet and wonderful.

I am grateful to the Almighty for this.

GRATEFUL FOR BEING IN THE MOMENT

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I have learned to live in the moment and every time that I am in the past or future,  I pull myself back.

Yesterday was a busy day.  I went to the post office to mail bills.  I went to ShopRite and Trader Joe's too. I had a delicious tuna dinner made the way Charles does it.  I read my book.

Today Matzah is going for his shot and his bath and I'M DRIVING TO ST. JAMES TO SPEND THE AFTERNOON WITH CHARLES!!!!!

I actually received  COVID VACCINE appointments for both February and March  but the printer won't print it out.  Freddy will be here tomorrow to help.

I dropped Matzah off for his bath and shot and drove to St. James and met with Charles. I hadn't been in his apartment since my birthday!  Lots of work is going on.  Tomorrow he is getting new windows.  We went on a beautiful drive through Nessaquogue and the North Fork We saw wild turkeys and took pictures. We made out in his vehicle. He took me to lunch at a Persian restaurant.  It was wonderful.  

I texted Charles to say that I returned safely with Matzah after putting gas in the truck.

We will speak tonight.

I truly love this man!!!!

GRATEFUL FOR EACH NEW DAY

 I am grateful to the Almighty for each new day that I'm alive.

This morning I'm on the phone with CVS trying to schedule Covid vaccinations.

Charles is doing the same thing at his home and we are communicating by cell phone.

Super Bowl was wonderful with Charles.  I made wings.  I watched the entire game!

Today Santos came to shovel.  Charles is going home and I will hopefully be going there on Wednesday.

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He sent Charles into my life.

This morning Charles spoke of not living in the past and not being hard on yourself.......of doing the best that you can do and believing that you tried.

I am grateful to the Almighty because I slept late today.

I got up at 9:00AM!!!  Wow!  I could never do that in years gone by.  I am so grateful for being able to rest my body whenever I want to.

GRATEFUL FOR MY HOME

I am grateful to the Almighty because my house is no longer a house BUT a home.

I saw this over the weekend and on Monday and Tuesday.  Each room has been task analyzed to meet my needs and it has become a beautiful home.

What a wonderful thing it is to build new memories in my new home.

Thank you Almighty for allowing me to reach this moment.
