 I am grateful to the Almighty for so many things.

* Charles is in my life.

* My checkup was a good one.

* I proudly introduced Charles to Dr. Vezza and Kyra.

GRATEFUL THAT CHARLES IS IN MY LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty because Charles is in my life.

I had  terrible night between the fall and the power outage which caused the generator to be on until 1:45 when my power was restored.

Charles will be here today until Friday.

Thank you Almighty for sending Charles into my life.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL MID WINTER BREAK WITH REMI AND CHARLES

 I am grateful to the Almighty for giving me a wonderful Mid Winter Break with Remi and Charles.

There are no words to describe the joy in y heart.

GRATEFUL FOR LEARNING TO TRUST MYSELF

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I am learning to trust myself.

Yesterday after Charles left....I cleaned the entire house except for my bathroom which I will do today.

I've got a lot of chores today too.  I need to clean my personal bathroom.  I need to food shop. I need to wash a handbag and finish my book.  I need to have my hair blown out too.  I need to walk.

Matzah is going for his medicinal bath later.

I'm getting ready for Remi's sleepover too.

Thank you Almighty fr helping me begin to trust myself.

GRATEFUL FOR LOVING MYSELF

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I am learning to love myself.  I am worthy of love.

I am also being gentle with my heart as loving myself brings up other emotions also.

Charles left after breakfast.

It was a wonderful weekend.

We ended it by going out for Mexican food and watching True Detective.

I am grateful to the Almighty for learning to love myself.

I am grateful to the Almighty for sending me Charles......a man who truly loves me.

GRATEFUL TO KNOW THAT I"M WORTHY OF LOVE

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He encourage me to attend a Reiki workshop about Self-Love and it was there that I realized that I'm worthy of love.

Charles and I had a wonderful weekend culminating in a visit to a Train Show in Bethpage where we met up with Barbara and Joel.  Charles won a raffle prize.   

I attended my Reiki Workshop and we made reservations in a beautiful hotel to see Sarah and Matt in April.

We're going out to dinner too and watching the last episode of The True Detective.

I am grateful to the Almighty because I now know that I'm worthy of love.

GRATEFUL FOR LOVE

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has sent love into my life.

Charles and I went to a Valentines Day Party with some of his friends from Bishop Reilly HS.

What a wonderful night it was.

We danced to CAN'T HELP FALLING IN LOVE WITH YOU BY ELVIS!!!!

This morning it snowed and Charles shoveled my driveway.

Thank you Almighty for this gift of love at this stage of my life.

GRATEFUL FOR A NORMAL LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has chosen to reward me with a "normal life."

It's a life that is balanced with WORK.......and FUN.   It's a life with a feeling of SAFENESS and SECURITY.

It's a life filled with FRIENDS and FAMILY and the ALMIGHTY.

It's a normal life and I am grateful to the Almighty for it.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL VALENTINES DAY WITH CHARLES

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the wonderful Valentine's Day that I had with Charles.

He came over in the early afternoon yesterday.

We caught up with True Detective and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

We exchanged Valentine's Day cards.

He bought me a beautiful pair of hoop earrings.

I took him to Sage Bistro and we had a delicious dinner.

It was a wonderful night too.

Charles left this morning as we both have chores to do.

We will speak tonight.

Almighty!   Thank you for sending me this wonderful man.

GRATEFUL FOR FEELING LOVE

 I am so grateful to the Almighty because I am feeling such love for Charles, my grandchildren and my children on this Valentine's Day!!!   I am feeling love for myself too.

Thank you Almighty for bringing a man's love into my life.

GRATEFUL FOR FRIENDS LIKE FREDDY

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has sent Freddy into my life.

He has been a friend for years before he became my handyman and now the person who watches over my home when I'm in St. James.

It snowed last night and I awoke at 4AM to go to the bathroom and then heard the garbage trucks picking up recycling.   I brought in my can and the newspapers at 4AM and went back to sleep.

Freddy shoveled my driveway and steps and although I had to redo the lip after the plow went by all is done.

I am grateful to the Almighty because Freddy is in my life.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL WEEKEND WITH CHARLES

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the wonderful weekend that I had with Charles.

I left for the apartment Saturday afternoon after services. It was the Men's Club and Sisterhood Sabbath.

We had a wonderful time together......Saturday we took a walk..... . We went to Avalon and Matzah was so delighted to see real ducks because he had never seen them....that he fell in the water and Charles had to reuse him. Later we went out for French food for dinner.  It was a beautiful restaurant.  We had been there years ago when we first met.

Sunday was The Super Bowl BUT even though we lost it was a wonderful evening.  We got our food at Buena Sera and everything was delicious.  We went to The Long Island Museum and saw an art exhibit about couples....like Lee Krasner and Jackson Pollack.  We then explored the rest of the museum and the grounds.

Today we went to Macy's so Charles could purchase a Valentine's gift for me and then we went to Uncle Giuseppe so I could buy groceries because we are getting a snow storm tomorrow.  We walked at Sunken Meadow and I saw a deer and took his picture.

I'm making dinner for myself tonight as I saw no need to go out to dinner with the girls.

I'm playing MahJong and speaking to Charles when they leave.

Thank you Almighty for my new life.

GRATEFUL FOR LETTING GO

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He encouraged me to practice yoga today with Janet, a new instructor and I learned something very beneficial for me.

I have also know about LETTING GO OF THAT WHICH DOESN't SERVE YOU, BUT this instructor added something to it which really resonated inside me.

LET GO OF YOUR EXPECTATIONS.........

This helped so much because I always was disappointed by people because my expectations weren't theirs.......now I can just let go with NO DISAPPOINTMENT!!

Today I attended services at PJC.

Later I will be leaving for Charles and will be there until Monday.

Thank you Almighty for taking care of me.

GRATEFUL FOR MY NEW LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a new life and I am beyond happy with it.

I have friends and family BUT most of all I have the love of a wonderful man who would never hurt me.

I've gone back to practicing yoga after taking a break and walking at The Home Depot.

There are books to read quietly. I'm now reading LIER, LIER by Mitch Album.

I'm reading quietly ad happily.

Last night I had dinner with Margie and we had a wonderful time.

Today I will prepare for the Sabbath.  I will practice yoga.....Louis will blow out my hair and I need to go to CitiBank.

I am grateful for everything in my life Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR CHERISHING MYSELF

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He encouraged me to practice yoga yesterday.

It was there that I learned the wold for loving myself......to cherish myself.

Today after a wonderful dinner and evening....Charles will be leaving to play golf and I will be practicing yoga.  Along with getting a manicure and other chores, I will be having dinner with Margie.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all that He has done for me.

I look at the world in a very different way.

I breathe and I'm happy too.

Charles wil be here this afternoon and we will be spending an overnight together.

GRATEFUL FOR THE BALANCE IN MY LIFE

 I m grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me to find balance in my life. 

Last night was a perfect example.

I went to dinner with the girls and then played Mahjong.

I won 3 games and texted Charles and Karen all my pictures.

I laughed a lot.  Charles would say that my ID came out.

Today is a quieter day filled with chores and some playtime.

BUT.....in the end I'm a balanced person and I'm grateful for this.

GRATEFUL FOR FINDING JOY IN MY LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me to find joy in my life.

I described Saturday night in my last blog.

Sunday morning I went to a Sisterhood PJC Book Club for Looking for Jane.  I was supposed to facilitate it BUT because it was Sunday I thought that I would be with Charles at our apartment.

We had the concert the night before so that didn't happen. Rhonnie facilitated it and I attended.

We drove out to St. James and Charles and I shared a wonderful afternoon.  In the evening he made dinner and we caught up on True De

tective and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Today we facilitated The Sports Book Club.  We read Sonny and I must say that together we did a wonderful job.

Tonight I'm having dinner with Rhonnie, Barbara and Debbie and playing MahJong.

Thank you Almighty for all that you have done for me.

I am grateful.

GRATEFUL FOR UNDERSTANDING

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me to understand what happened to me throughout my life.

The Almighty has helped me to make positive choices at this stage of my life.

Last night 3 couples went to dinner at Mario's and watched a beautiful concert at PJC.

Thank you Almighty for helping me to understand what happened to me and helping me move forward.

GRATEFUL FOR ACCEPTING CHANGE

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me the ability to accept change.  I have grown and developed and become the best person that I can be.......

I attended PJC services today....read the papers and walked at The Home Depot.

GRATEFUL FOR A QUIET DAY

 I am grateful to the Almighty for a quiet day.

It's very, very peaceful.

I can feel myself breathing.

How wonderful to wake up without strategies for survival.

Today I hope to practice yoga and get my hair blown out.

I have a few errands to do also and then the quiet of the Sabbath settles in.

I had a lovely dinner with Margie and a fun phone call from Charles yesterday.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all of this.

GRATEFUL FOR A PEACEFUL DAY

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has allowed me to wake up to a peaceful day.

There are many chores to do today.

I'm food shopping as well as taking Matzah for his medicinal bath.

Dinner is with Margie tonight.
