I am grateful to the Almighty because today is Shabbos and it is raining.
This will allow me to be still and to appreciate all the good and all the joy in my new life.
Tonight is also the beginning of the Shavout holiday. There will be a light dinner and a study session at PJC which I will joyfully attend as me. In years gone by I was always the woman alone, the woman with the strange husband who did nothing with her. Now I can just be me.
I am grateful to the Almighty for all that I have.
