GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL VACATION WITH CHARLES

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I'm leaving today for a vacation with Charles.

We are going to Southhampton and staying at the Southhampton Inn.

I will write all about it when I return.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL WEEKEND

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the wonderful weekend that I had with Charlie.

Even though the METS lost.....the weekend was amazing.

Sitting on the deck having dinner on Friday....services on Saturday......dinner at MARIO'S on Saturday to the MET game on Sunday......

Thank you Almighty for my new life.

GRATEFUL FOR A SUNDAY WITH CHARLES

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has sent Charles into my life.

Last night we went to dinner at Mario's.....Charles's treat.

Then we sat outside and chatted.

This morning we are getting ready to go to a MET game.

Charles is driving.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all of this.

GRATEFUL FOR A LOVELY SABBATH WITH CHARLES

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I had a lovely Sabbath with Charles.

I was able to go to services at PJC.

We stayed home and Charles took me out to dinner.

Shabbos was wonderful and I am grateful to the Almighty for this.

GRATEFUL FOR THE SABBATH

 I am grateful to the Almighty because tonight is the beginning of the Sabbath.

I will be enjoying it with Charles.  I'm making salmon for dinner and hopefully we will be able to eat outside.

Yesterday was a lovely day.  I was able to walk.  My hair was colored an blown out.  I took myself to Mario's for dinner.

Life is good.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW DAY

 I am grateful to the Almighty for this beautiful new day.

I'm happy.  I'm healthy.

I can face all obstacles.

Last night I again went to Pasteria for dinner.  We had a wonderful book discussion at PJC on The It Girl.  Oops!!   I ate cookies!   I will start dieting agin today.

Today i will walk.

I will get my hair colored and blown out.

I need to go food shopping too.

Life is good and I am grateful to the Almighty for all that He has done for me.

GRATEFUL FOR THE RESILIENCE IN ME

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has truly made me a resilient woman.

There is another crisis in my life.

Dana has declared herself GAY and is angry to me because I spoke with Sari.  I did answer Sari's text by calling her.  I did not give her any new information but told her that I was as heartbroken as she was.  We talked about the car service which I had canceled and then put back because Seth had an interview.  She accused me of lying to her.

I'm older...more tired of this with no hope that things will change.  This is who she is. People don't change.

I am trying to hold my head up and continue my life....but it's hard.

Thank you Almighty for the resilience that you have given me.

I am grateful.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL WEEKEND WITH CHARLES

 I am grateful to the Almighty for a wonderful weekend with Charles.

It was absolutely amazing!!!!

Charles drove to the Bronx and we saw The Yankees play The Blue Jays.  We had absolutely wonderful seats.  We got free hats too.  In the evening, we came home and had dinner on the deck. What a delight that was.

Sunday we practiced yoga in Pam's class.  We went to a Memorial Service for Barbara's dad at PJC.  I was so proud to be with Charles.....

In the evening we went to hear Bobby Sings Bobby with Ray doing all the technology.  Bobby sang Take Good Care of My Baby to me!!!!!

I am grateful to the Almighty for a wonderful weekend.

GRATEFUL FOR LIVING IN THE MOMENT

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I have FINALLY learned to live in the moment and have learned that my destiny is THIS MOMENT.

This was an interesting week.  I went to Kenny Kurtz, my dentist and received my permanent cap.

i fell and really bruised my big toe on the right foot because of too much alcohol.  It was a stage of life that I never lived because I had to be safe, secure and plan strategies for survival.  I vowed to eat healthy and to walk and I'm finally loosing the weight that I gained.I've been walking this week because yoga would have been too much for my toe.

Charlie and I played BINGO with Sisterhood and we won 4 prizes......3 were from Trader Joe's and one was from Panera Bread.

Charlie is coming to spend the weekend.  We have plans to go to a YANKEE GAME and to BOBBY LOVES BOBBY.

Thank you Almighty for helping me to live in the moment.

GRATEFUL FOR LEARNIG ABOUT FUN

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me learn about fun by sending Charles into my life.

Yesterday Charles came for dinner and to play Bingo with the PJC Sisterhood.

We had so much fun together.

I am so grateful to the Almighty for this.

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I practice yoga and one of our instructors spoke about BEING ENOUGH.

I realized that this is so true.

I realized that I am enough and that I can be proud of me.

GRATEFUL FOR A LOVELY SUNDAY

I am grateful to the Almighty for the lovely Sunday that Charles and I had.

We practiced yoga in Pam's class.

We walked at Wantagh Park.

We sat on the deck and had cheese, crackers and drinks and then had dinner at our favorite Asian restaurant.

It was truly a lovely day.

GRATEFUL FOR QUIETING THE MIND

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has shown me how to quiet my mind.

Charlie went home yesterday morning to get ready for the Hollis Get Together at a Beer Garden in Franklin Square.

I had an entire day for me!!!

I went to services.  I read the newspapers and my book.  I walked.

I took myself out to eat too.

It was a peaceful and quiet day.

Charlie was back at 10:30 like he said and now its off to yoga we go.

Thank you Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR QUIETING THE MIND

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I practiced yoga in Leslie's class and she spoke about QUIETING THE MIND.

It's a skill that I have not yet mastered BUT I am working on.

Charles arrived last night for Sabbath dinner which we had outside.

Tonight he has a Hollis Reunion Party and I will be able to walk, read and breathe.

I'm going to services at PJC too.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all of this.

GRATEFUL FOR BEING IN THE MOMENT

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He is teaching me to be in the moment.

It's not an easy task BUT I keep practicing.

Yesterday I did so many things and I'm so so proud of me.  Matzah was groomed.  The car was washed. I got a pedicure and had my rings cleaned.......and on and on.......I practiced yoga in not one BUT two classes too.

Today I will be practicing yoga in Leslie's class and having my hair blown out.  I hope to walk too. I haven't done that since the beginning of the heat wave!!!

I am grateful to the Almighty for guiding me on the right path.

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me to slow down and see the beauty in life.

I am leaving this afternoon to spend the weekend with my love.  I'll be back on Tuesday.

GRATEFUL FOR MY LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the wonderful new life that He has given me.

Yesterday I had my fractured cap fixed with a temporary cap.  I go back to Dr. Kurtz on August 18th for the final one.

Today I'm practicing yoga in two classes and speaking to Kyra.

I will pack for my "vacation" in St. James with Charles.  Dana, Seth and Madalyn are visiting us there.

Thank you so much Almighty for my new life.

GRATEFUL FOR A CHORE FILLED DAY

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the wonderful chore filled day that I had.

Why would I say wonderful????  It was a calm and quiet day.

Charles left this morning.  He had an MRA this morning and I had a dental appointment. I fractured a cap and Dr. Kurtz put in a new temporary one.

I went to Athleta and bought some shirts.  I came home to read the papers, call Karen and Dana because Dana, Seth and Madalyn are coming out east this weekend to hang out with Charlie and me and we needed to make plans.  I paid bills.

H2O showed up and fixed the sprinkler. 

I cleaned 2 bathrooms and the kitchen.  I paid bills.

It turned out to be a wonderful day!!

I will read my book tonight and speak to Charlie!

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I have learned to live in the moment and I am enjoying every moment.

Charles left this morning BUT will be back tomorrow to babysit Remi.

I practiced yoga in Margaret's class.

I did the laundry, vacuumed the floors, polished furniture, changed the sheets, read the papers and went on the computer.

Then I called Karen and Margie.  

Life is good in the moment.

I am grateful to the Almighty for this.
