GRATEFUL FOR A NEW LIFE

I am so grateful to the Almighty for my new life.

I really enjoyed the Sukkoth holiday.  The prayers were spiritual and the PJC sukkoth was lovely.  I enjoyed attending my book club too.  I had created some projects for myself and those were accomplished also.  My yoga clothes are now organized and I have begun to clean the walk in closet.  After all old clothes have to make way for new ones.

I was able to remain calm, cool and collected as he tried to start the most idiotic issues.  People don't change and I'm so glad that I learned this.  Peace begins with me and I had the courage to let it go.  I also told him that we should close up the condo.  I have a wonderful life here and summer is over.

Today I will walk in the morning.  I will practice yoga, read and do some errands.  I also plan to take an evening yoga class before dinner.

My new life is a good one and I am grateful to the Almighty for this.

Thank you.

GRATEFUL FOR THE ACCEPTANCE PROCESS

I am grateful to the Almighty because I am working to accept my new life.

My intention is to have a peaceful life and to accept the life that I was given.  My intention is to understand that peace begins with me.  I need to have the courage to let go of that which doesn't serve me so that I can heal.  It means giving up false dreams because that is what they are and once I can given them up, I can enjoy the life that I have.

It is a process that I am working towards.

Thank you, Almighty for this goal.

I am grateful.

GRATFULFOR PRACTICING YOGA

I am grateful to the Almighty because He sent me to yoga.

Yesterday I learned something so valuable.

PEACE BEGINS WITH ME.  I HAVE TO HAVE THE COURAGE TO LET GO OF THAT WHICH DOESN'T SERVE ME!!!!!

That is exactly the way that I will live my life from now on.

Thank you, Almighty!!

I am grateful.

GRATEFUL FOR CALM AND QUIET

I am grateful to the Almighty for the calm and quiet in my life.

This has enabled me to live a full life with ample time for all the wonderful activities that I do. However there are times when I forget and try to "teach."  I have obviously forgotten that he is arrogant and won't learn.  I waste precious time doing this.

Yesterday I did this.  After a wonderful day filled with walking, yoga and a fascinating Memory Workshop, I made the mistake of talking to him a bit more deeply.  It fell on deaf ears and precious time was wasted.  In my defense this does not happen often.

I was able to regroup and take another yoga class, this time in very helpful meditation and to watch a film later in the evening.

I will not do that again.

Thank you, Almighty for putting me back on track.

I am grateful for calm and quiet.

I am grateful for my new life.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW BEGINNING

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has allowed me to have a new beginning for my life.

I was amazed at the spirituality of my life yesterday on Yom Kippur.  Without those girls being here to make a mockery of the holiday, I was able to walk and spend the entire day in synagogue enjoying the awe of the holiday.  I was able to talk to my synagogue friends who have no real knowledge of them. I felt fine during the day because I was not stressed.  Without those girls being here, he too, could not make a mockery of the holiday.

Break fast was spent in the diner as a new custom.  It was wonderful.

Here I am on a Fall day which will feel like summer.  I will walk, practice yoga and attend my memory workshop.

What a wonderful day!!!

Thank you Almighty for new beginnings.

I am grateful.

GRATITUDE FOR MY LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty for His help in creating the life that I now have.

I went to an evening yoga class last night.  The instructor said that it is usual for people to lament about the things that they don't have and to cry out for them.

Instead we should be grateful for what we have.

That really resonated with me.

In this New Year, I intend to be grateful to the Almighty for what I have.

Thank you.

GRATEFUL FOR A BEAUTIFUL ROSH HASHANAH

I am grateful to the Almighty because He gave me a beautiful Rosh Hashanah.

I was able to pray at PJC for the entire service.   I spoke with friends.  I was able to walk and meditate.  The meals that I made were delicious.

Best of all it was so peacefully quiet.  There was no drama from the non-believers because they weren't here!!!!   I knew how to deal with his nonsense also.  When he told me that he hated the Rabbi's speech I agreed. That ended that discussion. When he told me to walk ahead of him because he walked slowly, I went another way.  Why call attention to a couple that walked strangely?  When he criticized my friends (the one that he pranked) I listened and did not respond.  That fell flat too.

I am grateful for a beautiful Rosh Hashanah. I prayed my heart out.  I hope that the Almighty writes down in The Book of Life that I will have a good year and all my family will too.

Thank you.

GRATEFUL FOR YOGA

I am grateful to the Almighty because He was the one who sent me to yoga.

Each day that I go I hear something that makes my heart soar.  Yesterday the instructor talked about the change of season and about the trees loosing their leaves in the Fall.  She made the analogy that we too have to let go of that which doesn't serve you so that you can heal.

The holiday season is hard for me.  I had a dream for the girls that never came true and now I am beginning to let it go so that I can heal.  I have already done this with him and created a new and different relationship that I can live with.

I am grateful to the Almighty for helping me to find yoga so that I can learn to do this.

Thank you.

GRATEFUL FOR THE CHANGE IN ME

I am grateful to the Almighty for the change in me.

I am working hard to practice everything that I have learned in yoga off the mat.  I do see amazing changes in me and I am proud of myself.  Each day that I awake from the fetal position that I slept in there are so many possibilities in the new day and I am so grateful.

Today I will walk, practice yoga and attend my Yoga Book Club.  I will read and also listen to an audio book too.

I am grateful to the Almighty for this.

Thank you.

I am grateful to the Almighty for the joy that I felt today when I did not have to go to the condo.

It was an amazing and relaxing day.

GRATEFUL FOR SMALL CHANGES

I m grateful to the Almighty for the small changes that He has helped me to make in my life.

I was on my way to walk this morning.  I would then practice yoga, go to Fresh Market and then DD.  I would come home and be off to the condo.

However a small change occurred.  Newsday arrived and as a result of that I didn't want to go out east.  Who knows if the paper would arrive for the next 3-4 days and we could be robbed??  I said this to him after yoga, after going to the back, after getting DD coffee.  I was delighted!!! The crazy neighbor upstairs was again creating grief.  He only knows how to bully me and can't get a handle on her.

I said this in my quiet little cute voice and then went off to complete my walk.

I will have to go tomorrow but this small change gave me relaxing time today.

I am grateful.

Thank you.
