GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL SABBATH

 I am grateful to the Almighty for my wonderful Sabbath.

I went to services at PJC and caught up with all my friends.  The Rabbi thanked me in front of the entire congregation for looking after the refrigerators while he was away.

Charles and I had lunch, "afternoon delight" and we walked at Gerry Park in Roslyn.

Tonight I'm taking him to Rachael's in Freeport.

I am grateful to the Almighty fo this wonderful Sabbath.

GRATEFUL FOR THE WEEKEND

 I am grateful to the Almighty because tonite is the Sabbath.......the beginning of the weekend.

Tonight I will be having Sabbath dinner with Charles and going to services tomorrow.

I don't know what is planned for the weekend BUT I know we will have fun!

GRATEFUL FOR THE JOY IN MY LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty for all the joy that He has given me.

I am still glowing from yesterday.

I slept until 9:30 this morning because I could.  No one could really understand what a joy that was.

Today will be a quiet day filled with chores, reading and glowing.

GRATEFUL BECAUSE I'M VISITING MADALYN

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I am taking Aaron's Limousine Service today and visiting Madalyn and Dana in their new home in Bay Ridge Brooklyn!!!

I haven't done this since March of 2020 before the Pandemic began.  However my life is so different now with Charles in it.....

The trip in the limousine was wonderful.  As I sat in the car looking out I thought of how blessed I am that my life has changed because Charles in my partner.

I love Madalyn.  She is a wonderful little girl and easy to play with.  While Mommy took I nap, Madalyn and Grandma did so many things including yoga.

I arrived at 10:30 and left at 5.  Each moment as a dream come true.

Thank you Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR LOVE IN MY LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty because he has sent LOVE into my life.

I feel complete with Charles.

GRATEFUL FOR AN AMAZING VACATION

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the amazing vacation that I had with Charles and his family in Dewey Beach.

Words can't express how beyond happy I feel.  Pictures can.

GRATEFUL FOR ANTICIPATING A VACATION

 I am grateful to the Almighty for giving me a new day.

I am happy.

I am healthy.

I'm looking forward to going to Dewey Beach in Delaware a place that I've never been.

It has been a most exciting week.  I went to a Sisterhood Book Club and Paint Your Summer Beach Bag Fundraiser at Sisterhood.  I paid my bills and my PJC dues.  I had dinner with Rhonnie, Rose, Zita and Margie.  I bought 2 new beautiful bathing suits.  I got a manicure and pedicure. I cleaned the house too.

I'm ready for my vacation.  Charles' family rented a mansion in Dewey Beach and it's going to be an amazing vacation!!!

GRATEFUL FOR LEARNING WHAT I HAD TO LEARN

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I practiced yoga in Hollie's class yesterday and I learned something that will change my life.

One learns what one has to learn at the right time and not a moment sooner.  Too often I have chastised myself for not knowing something and when finding out the answer being upset and saying, "WHY DIDN'T I KNOW THAT?"

I understand now that you learn what you have to and not a moment sooner.  These are life's lessons.

Thank you Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW AND AMAZING SUMMER

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the new and amazing summer that I'm having.

Last night I went to a Sisterhood Fundraiser.  I sat with Rose and Zita and we painted beach bags. I sent a picture of it to Charlie and Hilary and we had a good time laughing.

Today I'm practicing yoga in Hollie's class and then going to the Walt Whitman Mall to find two piece bathing suits for our trip to Delaware which starts on Saturday.

Tonight Im going out to dinner with Rhonnie, Rose and Zita and then going to our book club.

Life is good and I'm grateful to the Almighty for this.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW AND WONDERFUL LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the new and wonderful life that He has given to me.

I spent the weekend with Charlie.  I arrived home today.  I was there from Friday night to Tuesday morning.

What a wonderful time we had!  Dinner from Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace......delicious!!!

Hilary, Izzy and Remi visited on Saturday and what a wonderful day we had at Long Beach.

A concert at All Soul's Church followed.

Sunday was another beach day followed by The Eagles Concert at Long Beach and dinner at Rakki Ramen.

Yesterday we shopped for our family vacation in Delaware and we exchanged keys as an anniversary gift......we will be together 2 years on August 11.

This morning was the prayer service and we had a lovely breakfast with friends.

Thank you Almighty for my new and wonderful life.

GRATEFUL FOR A WEEKEND WITH CHARLES

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He is allowing me to have a wonderful weekend with Charles.

I am leaving for St. James this afternoon and will be there by 5.

There is a concert scheduled for tonight and lots of wonderful beach time this weekend.

Hilary, Izzy and Remi are coming too.

I will be back on Tuesday to tell you all about it.

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I was able to make wonderful changes in my home.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL JULY 4th WEEKEND

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the wonderful July 4th weekend that I had with Charles.

We slept in Plainview after our wonderful visit to Dana, Seth and Madalyn and left Sunday morning for St. James.

The weekend was filled with picnics and tanning on Long Beach.  We brought wine, cheese and crackers.  We sat on the balcony after wonderful dinners from Uncle Guisseppe's and watched the fireworks.  Freddy visited too.  We read the newspapers. Charles bought coffee from 7 Eleven and we chatted.

 We took walks and before I went home today we went to the prayer service at the Episcopal Church.

I'm home now.......so happy with my life and all my memories.

GRATEFUL FOR A VISIT WITH SETH, DANA AND MADALYN

 I am grateful to the Almighty because Charles and I will be driving to Bay Ridge to visit Seth, Dana and of course my little granddaughter Madalyn.

There aren't words to describe how grateful I am.....

The visit to Dana, Seth and my little Madalyn was wonderful.  Their neighborhood is beautiful as is their apartment.

Madalyn is a joy.....there are no words for this beautiful, friendly and personable little girl.

I played with her as a Grandma does BUT I especially enjoyed watching Charles play with her.

Seth treated us to a lovely dinner to.

My heart is filled with unimaginable joy.

GRATEFUL FOR NEW ADVENTURES II

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the wonderful new adventures in my life.

The boat ride was awesome.  We went all the way to Fire Island. We sailed out of Bayshore and had an absolutely delicious lunch on board the boat and sat with some very nice people.  I met a gal who worked for the Department of Education/VESID and she knew people that I knew!!!

We went to a fair at St. James too!

Charlie left in the morning to play golf and I went home to pick up Matzah and get my hair colored.

Charlie will be sleeping by me tonight as we are visiting Dana, Seth and my little Madalyn tomorrow.

Today has many errands.

I am grateful to the Almighty for my life and my new adventures.
