Charlie is picking me up and we are driving to Patchogue to have dinner with Lou and Sue.
Lou was the Gannon classmate that Charles went to Savannah to visit.

We left for the Ranger game at 2. Freddy picked us up and drove us into the city. We had lunch ay Friedman's. The game was amazing!!! The Rangers won. Terry drove us home and we sat at the kitchen table eating cheese and crackers and drinking wine!!

Sabbath dinner last night was delicious. I went to services. They were quite good. We are waiting to see if we are visiting with Michael this afternoon.

Charlie wanted to wait until the day we met on August 11......BUT I'M SO EXCITED.....I COULDN'T WAIT. We can't get married because it would be crazy to give up his pension so I REALLY WANTED TO GET ENGAGED. He will give me the ring on Friday.
Today my plan is to walk in The Home Depot and get my hair colored.

Many wonderful things happened this weekend!
I got engaged to Charles!!!! I am going to purchase a ring and be proud to wear it. We cannot get married or I will the Creature's pension. What I had really wanted was someone to make decisions for me if I have to be hospitalized. Gd willing that will not come soon but I will need a health care proxy and that will be Charles.......it will all be discussed with Dom and the attorney, Mr. Meares.
Yesterday we had amazing sex and then walked around Huntington.. We had dinner at Kabul.
Today we practiced yoga in Leslie's class and then had brunch at The French Connection.
Charlie went home and I cleaned the house and spoke to Karen.
I'm going to read and go out to dinner tonite with the Mahjong gals.
We will play at my house tonight.

Charles returned yesterday and we celebrated Valentine's Day together. What an absolute joy it was. We exchanged cards and gifts and I made dinner.
Today we had breakfast and he left to go home. I practiced yoga in Hollie's class and attended the Yoga Book Club.

I am feeling better physically.....my stomach is better as I'm carefully watching what I eat. I lost 2 pounds from this experience BUT I'm gaining them back.....I feel good.
As far as emotionally I'm trying very hard to replace a negative thought with a positive one and it helps. Strangely, I'm trying to do less and think positively and it's working. Thanks to Margie for her idea.
Last night I played Mahjong at my house and the girls made me laugh and I began to feel much better.
Charlie is coming home to me today. I have his gift ready. I'm making roast chicken for dinner.

Last night I watched the entire Super Bowl. I also watched an episode of The Last of Us. I'm up to date too. i did my food shopping at both Trader Joe's and ShopRite but alas I still have my stomach issues. I overdid it by going out for Japanese food, wine and cookies too.
I read my book as well as the newspapers. I love these quiet and calm days.
Today I'm going to be more careful and enjoy the day.

Later- I did so many wonderful things today. Athlete sent me a $50 gift card and I went to the store and made a purchase. I had lost my sun glasses so I bought another pair. I changed my necklace at Solomons. I shredded bills at Staples and purchased a chicken because I'm going to make dinner tomorrow night (Valentine's Day) when Charlie comes back. I went to Trader Joe's also. I also paid a bill and filled out my Valentines Day cards.
My stomach is better. I made salmon and potatoes for dinner.

I met via FaceTime, Charles' friend Lou. He's Italian and part Sicilian just like the boys that I grew up with. It was a lot of fun.
I finished my book....The Thread Bearers and will begin another one.

Dana and Madalyn came to stay from Saturday afternoon to all day Sunday. Dana napped and I took care of Madalyn all day.......not a stitch of help from Dana!!!! I even took them to Mario's for dinner. She called me Monday to ask me if she and Madalyn could move in temporarily and I said that it wouldn't work as the commute to Brooklyn and back she told me was horrendous. At this point she cursed me and wished me death.
I'm still recovering from PTSD and this took a toll on me.
I vowed to take a break from her as she is a BPD and this could endanger my life.
Thank you Almighty for helping me realize this.
