GRATEFUL FOR THE CHANGES IN MY LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He helped me to make changes in my life.

So much has changed since I was with the Creature.  My entire house has been redone.

I took a chance on FaceBook because of my daughters.......met a wonderful man.....approved of by Karen.   I took a chance in falling in love deeply with Charles......got engaged....got married on December 16, 2024 and have been beyond happily married for over 15 months.

I took a chance planning a vacation to Greenport this past weekend.  The HarborFront Inn was wonderful......the dinners at Noah's and Ellen's were wonderful as was the Greenport Brewery and the winery.

I am grateful to the Almighty because through these changes, He was there to support me.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL VACATION WITH CHARLES

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a wonderful weekend with Charles.

I drove out to to St. James and we drove to Greenport to start a beginning Spring Vacation at the Harbor Front Inn.

I love this man.

Thank you Almighty for this wonderful man.

GRATEFUL FOR BEING ALIVE

I am grateful to the Almighty because I woke up today alive and healthy and ready to begin a new day.

Yesterday I began my classes at Plainview Meditation!  What a joyful experience this was.

Today I'm driving to the apartment and Charles and I are going to The Harbor Front Inn in Greenport to spend the weekend!!!

It's the first day of Spring. The sun is shining.

I'm so happy.

Thank you Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR WAKING UP HAPPY

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has allowed me to wake up happy without the feeling of PTSD.

I realized yesterday that I put thoughts in my on head when I feel fear and anxiety in my stomach.....thoughts of my parents, brother and the Creature.

However I am in charge of my mind.

My mind is not in charge of me.

I put that to use this morning and VOILA.....I'm good.

I had a wonderful dinner date with Margie last night.

Today I'm getting ready for my weekend away with Charles. I'm very excited.

I will be walking at The Home Depot, going to Plainview Meditation and to Kyra.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all that He has done to help me.

GRATEFUL FOR THE WONDERFUL MAN THAT I MARRIED

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He sent me Charles.....a wonderful man......and I'm married to this wonderful man and enjoying my life.

I'm back from St. James.  The show at Celebrate St. James was awesome...it was not only Irish songs BUT songs from the 70's that I could sing along to as well as dancing with Charles.

We did some errands afterwards....library to pick up books for The Sports Book Club.....Sports betting for March Madness and we we t to The Wine Guy because we needed to replenish wine at the apartment.

This morning I was on my way by 12.....to walk at The Home Depot....to continue Passover shopping and get a manicure.

I also continued to set up Pesach in the kitchen.

I'm having dinner with Margie at Marios.  I hope to read when I get home and then speak to Charles before I go to sleep.

Thank you Almighty for this wonderful man.

GRATEFUL FOR AN ADVENTURE

I am grateful to the Almighty because in the middle of Passover preparations......I am going on an adventure!!!  

I will be going to the apartment to attend a St. Patrick's Day Celebration with Charles at Celebrate St. James.

 I will return to Plainview tomorrow and tell you all about it.

GRATEFUL FOR BEGINNING TO HEAL MY HEART

I am grateful to the Almighty because He is helping me to heal my heart and move on.

I understand our marriage a lot better than I did.   Charles and I had an amazing weekend.  We had a beautiful Shabbos dinner at the house.  I went to services on Saturday and made dinner after which we went to PJC to see The Wizard of Oz.  On Sunday Charles went to play horseshoes with the guys from Hollis and I was able to do some chores and walk at The Home Depot.  We met up again and attended the Academy Awards where I won a Trivia contest with Charles' help and as a prize I received a $25 gift certificate to a restaurant.   THIS IS A REAL MARRIAGE.......SOMETHING THAT I NEVER UNDERSTOOD!

Charles went back to St. James today and at 2pm I will have my first Meditation class.

Tonight is Mahjong and we will be playing at Rhonnie's with dinner at  Pasteria.

A new life has begun EVEN at my age.  I am grateful to the Almighty for this.

GRATEFUL FOR GETTING RID OF DREAMS

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me to get rid of dreams that never materialized and to create new dreams for myself.

My life is so much better because of thi and I am so much calmer and happier. Last night Charles and I went to PJC to see The Wizard of Oz.  It was a wonderful evening.  I'm so proud of the man I love.  I'm respected at the synagogue because life changed because I believed in the Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR A RELAXED SABBATH

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a wonderful Sabbath.

I made a delicious Sabbath dinner last night.  Charles loved it.....salad...salmon and grilled vegetables.

I went to services this morning and tonight we're going to see The Wizard of Oz at PJC.

Gone are the days when I had to have strategies to be safe when I came home.

I am grateful to the Almighty for my life.

GRATEFUL FOR JOY IN MY LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has allowed me to have joy in my life.

I picked up Matzah's ashes from Jericho Animal Hospital yesterday.  I cried.......I felt relieved that I could cry thanks to Zoloft and the therapy that I get from Kyra and Judith.  I rejoiced in the wonderful life that Matzah had with me and did not feel guilty about ho he passed.....I blamed Jericho Animal for worshipping money and no explaining to me what was really happening.

I am joy fun because Charles will be spending the weekend at the house with me. Today we will be going to the Syosset Library to see Hamnet and then having Shabbos dinner. I am looking forward to this with joy.

Thank you Almighty for the joy in my life.

GRATEFUL FOR LOVE IN MY LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has allowed me to experience love in my life.

Charles loves me deeply and calls me his best friend.   I feel love from my children and grandchildren.  Remi FaceTimed me yesterday to explain how he made a windmill in AfterCare.  I spoke to Madalyn as well as Dana.  I speak to Hilary too.  I have an entire new family with Charles and I am grateful for this.

Today Freddy is coming over to fix my garage door.......i feel the love there too.  I'm meeting up with Neil Clark today at Plainview Meditation to join again.

Thank you Almighty for all the love in my life.

GRATEFUL FOR THE CALM AND QUIET IN MY LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has allowed me to have peace, quiet and calmness in my life.

I am healthy.  I am happy.

Yesterday I did all of my food shopping for the week and even started the Passover shopping.  I paid for the two Seders.  Charles and I will be at the first one and Hilary, Izzy and Remi at the second one.  I walked at The Home Depot too and made dinner.....watched the news and read my book.   These are quiet and wonderful things.

Today I hope to walk at The Home Depot after my mani/pedicure.  I am setting up for Passover.

Thank you Almighty for my calm life.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW DAY

I am grateful to the Almighty because I have woken up happy and healthy to another Spring like day.

 I really enjoyed dinner at Golden Temple and Mahjong last night.  Today I hope to walk.......do chores and read.

I am grateful to the Almighty for this new day.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL MORNING

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a wonderful morning.

Charles and I had dinner last night in Mineola at a place called St. James with Anita and Ray.  Charlie slept over and this morning both of us drove to Sunken Meadow to walk.  It was a beautiful Spring day and I walked almost 4 miles.  I actually saw the beach and the snow together and then saw dee.  I took a picture of everything!!! It was wonderful.

I drove back to Plainview and picked up the novel HAMNET at the Syosset Library because Friday the library is showing the film and Charles and I will see it.

I threaded bills from years ago at Staples, mailed bills and went to ShopRite for some basic food.

Charles was able to bring up my bridge table that I use for Passover.  We are re-cycling more of Matzah's things as Charles brought down the re-cycle bins but he will always be in our hearts

Soon I will be off to The Golden Temple for dinner with the girls and MahJong.

I am grateful to the Almighty for this morning and this day.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL WEEKEND

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me an amazing weekend.

Charles and I went into Manhattan using Aaron's Limo Service.  We stayed at the Sonesta on Lexington and 37th Street.   Hilary threw a 50th birthday party at a German Beer Garden and we were invited.

It was a memorable party with lots of people from all different stages of her life. Thanks to the Almighty I lived through every imaginable crisis and came out whole.  I'm an accomplished woman and beyond proud of me.  I introduced to Charles to many people who had been affected by the Creature.

The hotel was so much fun what with it's rooftop dining and bar.

We took a limo home and will have dinner with Anita and Ray.  

I am grateful to the Almighty for watching over me all my life and bringing me to this moment.

GRATEFUL FOR ACHIEVING MY GOALS

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me to achieve my life's goals.

Instead of being upset that they didn't work out exactly as I thought they would I will appreciate that the Almighty allowed them to happen and I will breathe quietly.

Thank you Almighty for allowing me to realize this wonderful news.

GRATEFUL FOR LOVING MYSELF

 I am beyond grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me to achieve the goals I set for myself.

It is time for me to begin to love myself and enjoy.

Today I am going to get my hair colored and blown out.

I might take myself out for dinner......I'm not sure.

I miss Matzah terribly BUT I know that I will meet him one day again in Heaven.

Thank you Almighty for all you have done for me.

GRATEFUL FOR MEETING LIFE'S GOALS

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me to achieve my life's goals.

I am happy and healthy and have begun to appreciate my life and it's achievements.

Today I'm going to clean.......walk at The Home Depot and pack for our trip....Charlie's and mine......to Manhattan and the Shelbourne Sonesta for Hilary's 50th birthday party.

GRATEFUL FOR BEING MYSELF

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has allowed me to have fun BUT more than that I AM MYSELF.

Charles and I did a number of fun things this past weekend and I enjoyed each one. PJC had a service called NY NY with a dinner that was lovely.  Services were wonderful on Sturdy. We went to a Mexican restaurant in Smithtown and the food was delicious. We went to a Women's Basketball game in Stonybrook too.

Last night was Purim at PJC.  We went as a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich and won a prize.  We won a Carvel Gift Card.

Today is a day filled with chores, walking and I have to begin packing. Next weekend we will be in Manhattan stying at The Sonrsta Hotel to celebrate Hilary's 50th birthday.

Thank you Almighty for the joy in my life BUT most of all thank you for allowing me to be myself.
