GRATEFUL FOR THE PEACE IN MY LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me peace in my life.

It is so joyful to wake up quietly......to go about my morning chores peacefully......to text love messages to Charles.......to have a quiet breakfast with the news on television.....to read the paper......take a shower and brush my teeth.  This was the norm for so many people through their lives.  I'm so glad that the Almighty let me experience this now!

Today I will be cashing a check at Chase and paying bills and mailing them at the post office.  My floor needs to be swiffered  too.  I will read and walk at The Home Depot. I'm getting my hair blown out.  

 Tonight is the beginning of the holiday of Shavout and I will be going to a service and classes at PJC tonight.

Tomorrow is Shavout and the beginning of the Sabbath.  I will be at services both Friday and Saturday.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all the peace in my life.

GRATEFUL FOR MY NEW LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a wonderful new life.

Charles' 75th Birthday Trip was a HUGE SUCCESS.  I am beyond grateful to the Almighty for allowing this to happen.  The weather was gorgeous.....really summer like. North Branch Inn was wonderful. Jake made FREE INCLUDED BREAKFAST. The HAPPY HOUR was beyond belief. Dinners were out of this world. We absolutely loved the room and I loved the independence of my shower and the funky bathtub in the room. We went to see WOODSTOCK in BETHEL.  We took the tour in the golf cart and enjoyed the museum. We traveled to ROSCOE and to NARROWSBURG too. Each day brought a wonderful experience in the SUV that we rented.

Charles left early this morning to return the vehicle.  I will start my day remembering the joy of our love on this wonderful birthday trip.

Today it's back to chores but the MEMORIES of our days together will shine through.

Thank you Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY VACATION

GRATEFUL FOR BEING EXCITED AND HAPPY

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has made me both excited and happy. 

This is a very special long weekend because I am taking my beloved Charles on his BIRTHDAY TRIP to the Catskills.  We are staying at THE NORTH BRANCH INN. We are leaving today.....Thursday May 14th and will be home on Tuesday May 19th.

I'm very happy to be doing this for Charles. I'm also very happy for me as I get to take vacations that are joyful.

Thank you Almighty for my joy and excitement.

GRATEFUL FOR BEING HAPPY

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has allowed me to become a happy human being.

I am so beyond grateful for all the friends and activities that I have, Yesterday I had my hilts done at ID......I'm blond and green now!!!  I went shopping at Bloomingdale's and bought makeup and a beautiful new MZ Wallace bag.  I'm treating myself to things because......if not now...then when?

Today I will be speaking to Dom at 10 and then going to Lunch and Learn at PJC.  I will walk at The Home Depot and get a manicure too.  I'm taking myself to dinner because tomorrow I take Charles on his 75th Birthday trip.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all that He has given me.

GRATEFUL FOR BEING RESILIENT

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has made me a BRIGHT and RESILIENT human being.

I have a tendency to believe in dreams that I create BUT I need to come back down to reality.

Today is one of those days.

I need to be resilient so that I don't create false dreams and illusions and then become disappointed.   I need to take care of me and that's exactly what I'm going to do.

That's exactly what I'm going to do.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a wonderful Mother's Day weekend.

Charlie took me to Monte's for a Mother's Day dinner on Saturday night.  Sunday we had brunch at Hilary and Izzy's new co-op.   I brought Remi 2 boxes of Pokemon cards and a Hess truck for Remi and a bottle of wine for Hilary.  We had a delightful time....even gettin to walk in Forest Park.  Then we went to visit Anita and Ray....also VERY BIG FUN!!!!

Charlie bought me a Class at the new cooking establishment called Bud in Smithtown and Anita give me a bottle of wine.

We came home exhausted.   Charlie left this morning and I went to the Verizon Store to explain new things about my phone.  I will walk at The Home Depot and attend a session at Plainview Meditation.

I'm having dinner at Pasteria and playing Mahjong at Rhonnie's.

Thank you Almighty for this incredible Mother's Day weekend.

GRATEFUL FOR MY NEW LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a wonderful new life.

Shabbath dinner with Charles was wonderful.  I made salad and swordfish with carrots.  We start with a cocktail that I make and end with one as dessert.  Charles is so respectful of Shabbat services that I do and candle lighting.

Today I attended services.  I will read and walk at The Home Depot. Charles went to a Commack Library program with Stephen.

Tonight we are having dinner with Ray and Cindy. They live in Plainview and know many restaurants that I don't know.  We're going to Villa Monte. I'm very excited.

Thank you Almighty  for this new life.

GRATEFUL FOR LOVING MYSELF

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has taught me how to love myself.

It took a long time BUT I finally learned how to do this.

I've gone shopping for me.  I got a manicure and pedicure. I joined Plainview Meditation and am learning how to throw away false pictures.  I am aware that Hilary is a narcissist and I learned how to deal with it. I'm eating healthy and exercising too. I'm very proud of me.

 Today I'm getting my hair blown out and going to Plainview Meditation.  I will walk at The Home Depot.

Charles will be here to spend Mother's Day Weekend with me. We will do the Sabbath together. Tomorrow we will be going out with Ray and Cindy in Plainview. I will finally learn about the Plainview that I never knew.  Hilary is hosting a brunch on Sunday and I bought Remi lots of gifts too.

I am grateful to the Almighty for my life.

GRATEFUL FOR QUIET IN THE MORNING

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has allowed me to have quiet  in the morning.  It's a blessing that I NEVER had before.  Waking up in the morning to peacefulness is an absolutely beautiful gift.

Today will be a quit day.  I'm going food shopping.  I will walk at The Home Depot and then do a session at Plainview Meditation.

Margie and I will have dinner tonight at Mario's and I'll speak to Charles at the end of the day.

GRATEFUL FOR A CALM MORNING

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a calm morning.  I really appreciate calm mornings as this was something that I NEVER had.  I am grateful to the Almighty for the gift of calmness.

Today will be a quiet day.  I'm treating myself to a manicure/pedicure this morning and Plainview meditation later in the afternoon.  I will walk at The Home Depot and I hope to finish my book....The Long Island Reads....Doorman.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW DAY

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a new day.

I am happy. I am healthy and ready to begin the new day.

Mahjong was fun last night.  I know exactly who my cast of characters are and what to expect so it was really fun playing the game.  The girls left about 10:15.

Today I will be at the Verizon store dealing with technologies many problems. Then I have a dental cleaning as well as a discussion about my bonding.

I hope to walk at The Home Depot as well as clean the kitchen and both bathrooms. I hope to have tofu and veggies for dinner.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all that He as done for me.

UPDATE:   I am delighted to report that Dr. Kurtz will redo my bonding. I have a new product to use on my teeth before I retire too!   Big fun!

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL WEEKEND WITH MY HUSBAND

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a wonderful weekend with my husband Charles.

Friday night, Shabbos dinner was wonderful. Charles is beyond respectful. Services were quite good too.  Then we left for the apartment.  Charles made dinner Saturday night and we slept late on Sunday......had sex and breakfast and went to the Smithhaven Mall and got everything done.  We went to the new Galiano Wine Bar and Restaurant and then had Japanese food for dinner.

This morning we went to the Sports Book Club and lunch with the guys.

I came home to play Mahjong at my house.  I'm hosting.

Thank you Almighty for this wonderful weekend.

GRATEFUL FOR THE ALMIGHTY'S HELP

 I am beyond grateful to the Almighty for all the help that He has given me.

This was a tough week BUT thanks to the Almighty I made it through the court hearing and the periodontist.  I even made it through to Verizon and got a new phone and free laptop.

I was at services this morning after breakfast with Charles.

I will be heading to the apartment and will be back on Monday!

GRATEFUL FOR ACCEPTING CHANGE

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has taught me to live in the moment and accept change.

Yesterday Charles took me to the periodontist and Dr. Lutnick did a bit of surgery on 2 teeth.  I have to return next Thursday to do a re-check and see if I need a root canal.  I took Charles out to dinner.  He went back to the apartment and I went home to collapse!

Charles will be back tonight for Shabbos dinner.  I need to buy fish.  I need to get my hair blown out and walk at The Home Depot.  I need to attend a session at Plainview Meditation too.

Life in the present is really good and I'm grateful to the Almighty for all of this.
