GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL FATHER'S DAY

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a wonderful Father's Day.

Yesterday we went to a Watch Party in Mineola Park for the World Cup. Sitting in the park was absolutely wonderful.   This was followed by Big Joe's Barbecue in North New Hyde Park which made it an awesome day.

Today I took Charlie out to breakfast at The French Connection.  I bought 2 wonderful coffee cups for our apartment too.

Michael and Andrew will be arriving at 2:30 today for Father's Day.  We will be having gluten free pizza and the trimmings.

 I am grateful to the Almighty for this wonderful day.

GRATEFUL FOR THE SABBATH

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has made the Sabbath.  

It's a day of rest and quiet for me after a very busy week where I accomplished so many things.  Sadly it looks like one of my teeth has to be pulled BUT if that is the worst problem in my life then I'm fine.

Charles will be here today after services.  We will be going to a Watch Party for the World Cup and a barbecue. 

Thank you Almighty for thi wonderful Sabbath.

GRATEFUL FOR THINGS TO LOOK FORWARD TO

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a real life filled with health and happiness and plans to look forward to.

Today I'm going to Dr. Ludwig so that he can again look at my tooth. But I'm also getting my jewelry changed, I'm signing up for the Plainview Pool and I'm going to Plainview Meditation.  I will walk and read my book too.

 Tonight it will be the Sabbath and tomorrow I will be at services.  When I come home Charles will be here.  I will be changing and going to a World Cup Party and Big Joe's Barbecue.   Sunday Michael and Andrew will be here.

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a life with wonderful things to look forward to.

GRATEFUL FOR A QUIET DAY

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a quiet day after all the excitement these last few days.

 I will be doing simple things today.  I will be cleaning the bathroom and kitchen.  I'm getting my hair colored and cut at I.D.  I will be going to Plainview Meditation.  I hope to walk.  I hope to start my new book.  I hope to make an appointment with Dr. Ludwig. Simple yet necessary things to do.

I am grateful to the Almighty for a quit day in my life.

GRATEFUL FOR THE OVERWHELMING HAPPINESS INSIDE ME

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me overwhelming happiness.

Today is Dana's 47th birthday and Madalyn's graduation from kindergarten.

Charles and I will be traveling to Brooklyn to celebrate this special day with them. I never dreamed that I could be so lucky.

 Thank you Almighty.

UPDATE:   It was an absolutely wonderful visit.  I brought Madalyn 4 presents and a picture of the two of us.  Charles and I liked her new apartment and Dana found a wonderful place to have dinner. We came home tired BUT happy that our mission was successful.  We have dates planned for July too.

GRATEFUL FOR THE HAPPINESS IN ME

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has allowed me to become a happy person.

I wake up each morning healthy and happy.  I anticipate each day with curiosity and joy.

Today I will be going to a new dentist to take an x-ray of a tooth that Dr. Ludwig and Dr. Kurtz say might need a root canal.  Charles is taking me and then staying over because tomorrow we are driving to Brooklyn to see Dana's new apartment.  It's her 47th birthday and Madalyn is graduating from kindergarten.

There are chores to do.  I will also be going to Plainview Meditation and hope to walk this afternoon at The Home Depot.

Thank you Almighty for all the happiness that you have given me.

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a wonderful weekend beyond any of my dreams.

Charles and I took Hilary, Izzy and Remi to Mannewaski Lodge and we just had an amazing time.

GRATEFUL FOR THE JOY IN MY LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty for all the joy in my life.

Today we leave for MINNEWASKA LODGE with Hilary, Izzy and Remi.  It's a family vacation that we go on once a year and this is what they chose and Charles and I pay for it.

All my chores were completed this week!  I went everywhere and did everything that I had to do.

I am grateful that the Almighty has given me a wonderful new life.

I am grateful that the Almighty has given me good health.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW DAY

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a beautiful new day.

He has given me health and happiness.  I am enjoying each day.  Yesterday I attended Lunch and Learn at PJC where we spoke of the history of the Conservative Jewish Movement.  I went to Plainview Meditation where I made it to Level 2.  I walked at The Home Depot. I bought my June cards at CVS.  I paid Freddy.  At night, I made dinner and attended The Sisterhood Book Club.

Today is a busy and fun day.  I am going to pack for the Minnewaska Lodge vacation this weekend with Hilary, Izzy and Remi.  I need to buy Madalyn graduation presents.  I'm going out to dinner with Margie too.  I have an appointment with Kyra.

I am grateful to the Almighty for this new, happy, healthy day BUT more than that I am grateful to the Almighty for my new wonderful life.

GRATEFUL FOR ENJOYING SUMMER

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me an entirely new life and allowed me to enjoy summers in retirement.

The Almighty has given me Charles which in turn has given me an entire new life. Yesterday we went to visit his old friend Paula who lives on Roosevelt Island.  I looked at the island with new eyes and thought, "What if we lived there too?"  So now I'm on a new quest.

Today I'm heading to PJC for Lunch and Learn, Plainview Meditation and The Sisterhood Book Club.  My new life is filled with joy.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all that He has given me.

GRATEFUL TO THE ALMIGHTY FOR A WONDERFUL WEEKEND WITH CHARLES

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He gave me a wonderful weekend with Charles.

Hilary and Izzy picked up Remi on Saturday afternoon.  Charles and I went back to St. James and had a delicious dinner in Galiano's.  We then went to Celebrate St. James and saw South Pacific.   It was wonderful.

Yesterday I went to All Souls Church with Charles where he did a reading.  After the coffee hour we went to The Long Island Museum and saw an exhibit on The 70's and one on the Revolutionary War.....this year is our 250th anniversary.   A delicious dinner followed in Centerport at The Old Mill Restaurant on the water.  We sat outside on the deck and had drinks too.

Today I went back to Plainview.  Freddy has put all the chairs on the deck and it looks beautiful.

I will take myself out to dinner and Charles will be here tonight after the wake he went to.  

Tomorrow we're going to Roosevelt Island to visit Paula.

I'm in love and beyond happy.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL DAY IN ST. JAMES WITH REMI

I am grateful to the Almighty because Charles and I had a wonderful day in St. James with Remi.  It was a dream come true for me.

We had breakfast in The Hicksville Diner and then went to Dick's for World Cup things for Remi and I bought sneakers.   We went to the Lake Grove Mall for a World Cup hat and tee shirt for Freddy.   We went to King Kullen too.

Jamison came home from school at 3:30 and the boys played the night away.

Breakfast at The Millennium Diner and then back to Plainview and ShopRite.

Remi and I gave Freddy his present and now it's off to fun adventures.

Thank you Almighty for making my dreams come tru.

GRATEFUL FOR A DREAM COME TRUE

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has made my dreams come true.

The Almighty sent Charles, who loves sports, and Remi who loves them too. We are headed to LIJ to pick up Remi and bring him to St. Jams where he will have a play date with his friend Jamison.  We will be back in Plainview tomorrow for more excitement. 

Oscar has done my flower bed and created a Memorial to Matzah.  Freddy is building me a banister.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all that He has done for me.

GRATEFUL FOR FOLLOWING MY DREAM

I am beyond grateful to the Almighty because He has made sure that I could follow my dreams.

I have the finances to do wonderful things thanks to the Almighty. Oscar, my gardener, has created a beautiful front garden at the house.  He created a memorial for Matzah too. Freddy put in new lights in the front and the mudroom and is now building a banister.

The Almighty gave me Charles and he is taking me to the eye doctor today. I hope the checkup is a good one.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all that He has done for me.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW DAY

I am grateful to the Almighty because I am waking up to a new day filled with new adventures.

I came home yesterday to a BEAUTIFUL GARDEN with 3 new bushes and beautiful flowers.  Oscar had taken Matzah's water bowl and filled it wth with beautiful stones and a lovely cactus.  He lives forever in my heart and now I will be able to see his little face laying up water too.

Freddy is still working on the house.....the deck is almost done!  The banister is in the garage!

 Charles will be here after golf today to spend the rest of the week with me!  I'm very excited.  We are watching Remi from Thursday to Saturday both in Plainview and St. James.  I'm very excited.

GRATEFUL FOR A BLESSED WEEKEND

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has blessed me with a wonderful life.

 We met Hilary and Izzy for a MET game on Sunday and surprised little Remi by having Grandma and Poppy there!    Charles has made sure that my grandson is in my life!!!!

Today we attended the last Sports Book Club of the season and it was wonderful.

Tonight I played Mahjong and had fun.

I feel blessed by the Almighty.
