Yesterday was an awesome day filled with many, many chores.
Today will be quieter as the Sabbath approaches and Charles spends the weekend with me. Charles will be getting his booster shot at the CVS on Old Country Road today.

Yesterday Charles drove me all the way to Clifton New Jersey so that I could visit my family during the High Holidays.

He is driving me to King Solomon Cemetery in New Jersey so that I can pray before the graves of my family during this High Holiday Season.

It was beautiful and spiritual. I was able to pray and enjoy the entire service.
I was able TO BE in my own home when I came home.
I was able to have dinner quietly. I read. I walked. I even gt a bit of a sunburn as I took a nap on the lounge chairs.
I hope that the Almighty grants me a Happy and Healthy New Year.

I am grateful to the Almighty because Charlie and I practiced yoga in Marissa's class today and I learned something very concrete.
Yogis always say: "Let go of that which doesn't serve you so that yo can heal." Today Marissa spoke of a tree loosing dead leaves and letting them go and moving on. That is what I am trying to do.......
Charlie and I did all sorts of errands after the class. I needed to go to Trader Joe's. I needed gas for the truck. We had brunch in The French Connection in Plainview. We visited Lenny. I came home to finish laundry and the bathroom and kitchen.
Charlie left and I will speak to him Tuesday night.
I hope to have a spiritual Rosh Hashanah without any over thinking.
