I am grateful to the Almighty because He has allowed me to have a wonderful weekend with Charles.
We returned Remi Saturday night and Sunday we went to Anita's because it was Amy, Adam and John's birthday. It was a wonderful birthday party.
Charles stayed later on Monday because he was going to play golf in Bethpage.
Tonight I'm going to dinner with the girls and Mahjong is at my house.

Remi is coming for an overnight. We are picking him up in my car service. Hilary is signing the beneficiary document.....not without protest....but doing it for Remi. The money is for Remi to inherit....not her. She also does not want to have Charles called Grandpa because "her daddy was the father and grandpa even though she was conceived by artificial insemination. Did I get upset???? Nope!!!! Why??? Because one has to accept that which you cannot change and move on!!! I'm very proud of me.
I'm hoping to bring Remi to services tomorrow. We hope to see a football game at Chaminade and then show him where his mother grew up, where Charlie grew up and where I grew up. We hope to go to Gabby's too.

I went to King Solomon Cemetery yesterday with Charles and introduced him to my family. I was very proud to do this because I know that he loves me very much and will always be there for me.

I had a wonderful weekend with Charlie. I arrived at the apartment on Saturday after services and just came home.
It was a lovely weekend. We went to a German Festival in Smithtown and then walked to see the devastation that the rainstorm/flood and destroyed dams had on Blydenburgh Park.
We went to All Souls Church because they have a new reverend.
We cooked dinner for both nights. I walked. Charlie watched football and in the evening we watched 60 Minutes and Episode 1 of The Penguin.
Today I will clean the house and play Mahjong.
I'm appreciating each moment of my day.

My chores are done this week and it is the Sabbath today. I got my Covid and Flu shot. I picked up my PJC holiday tickets. I paid bills. I went to the bank and the post office. I picked up Matzah and took him for a medicinal bath too. I walked. I cleaned my jewelry. I went to the Sisterhood Book Club too. I got my hair blown out and a mani/pedi. I read my new book.....Travels With Charley! Wow!
Today it's the Sabbath and I'm getting ready for services and to my beloved Charlie.

It was tough this morning......Charlie was going back to our apartment....it was very bitter sweet.
It had been a wonderful trip BUT I couldn't help thinking of my mother, brother, husband and daughter and all the grief that I had with them through life.
However the Almighty helped me because as I did my chores....I began to feel much better and tonight I'm attending the Sisterhood Book Club.

I was at the apartment with Charles and Matzah all weekend. We invited Freddy to come out and go to All Souls with us as they were having a Columbian guitarist play and Freddy is Columbian. Freddy treated us to Portuguese food.

Sometimes I get overwhelmed by life. Yesterday Charles and I purchased two cemetery plots at Locust Valley. Although I was happy about this the dream of a "normal husband" came back and it was hard to let it go. Thanks to Zoloft!!!
Today I have chores to do and packing for our next vacation to Pittsburg which starts Tuesday.....bills to pay and mail.....medication to be picked up.......packing....a book to finish and a dinner at PJC.
Charles will be going back to St. James. I made a delicious dinner last night. I will be heading to St. James after services tomorrow.

Charles arrived this morning after Matzah went for his medicinal bath. We went to the Locust Valley Cemetery which is non-sectarian and purchased 2 plots.
Susan is arriving with my new pocketbook.
Remi began first grade and Madalyn is in pre-kindergarden.
It goes fast.
Charles and I will walk later and I'm making flounder for dinner!!!

I left after services and drove to St. James. I came back today.
It was an absolutely wonderful vaca. We visited Dan in Long Beach. We walked at Avalon and saw the devastation that the flood brought. We went to Long Beach in Smithtown too. I got to make dinner and sit outside with my love and watch the US Open with him.
I'm home now.
Charlie will be here tomorrow because we are purchasing cemetery plots.
