I am grateful to the Almighty because it was the Almighty that decided that I'm to go on a new adventure.
We are taking Sarah and Matt, Michael and Lola on their family vacation. It couldn't have come at a better time for me as the Jewish holidays are over and I'm beyond ready for a vacation. Life is changing for me also. Charlie is moving in with me when next year's lease runs out. We will also be renting an apartment in Westhampton.

I have tried very hard with both Hilary and Dana. I feel no guilt because I've tried so hard BUT now it's tie to move on. I am grateful to the Almighty because He will be taking me on a new path.

I see a difference in myself. I look around at the sky, at the changes of the leaves, and at the world around me. I spend less and less time ruminating about what could have been or what should have been or how to make my children care about me.
As a result of his I am really enjoying my life. I played Mahjong with the girls and stayed out until 10:30!!! I went to a Sisterhood Meeting about Art in the Subways. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Today I'm getting my nails done for our trip to Massachusetts. I will also have a session at Plainview Meditation.
Today I'm driving out to St. James for an overnight to have dinner with Charles at Galiano's because tonight is Wine Club Night!!!

I told myself that after all the holidays were completed I would sit down with Dom Noya and look at my will. That is exactly what I'm going to do. My children have not made my life sweet.......money will be left to the grandkids who as far as Hilary goes......she has made it as difficult as possible to see Remi and Dana has just disappeared since the US OPEN.
I know that I've made the correct decision BUT this isn't easy.

Sabbath dinner with Charlie was wonderful last night. Today I went to services which were very meaningful. Tonight Charlie and I are going to a Simchat Torah service at PJC. He is leaving to go home because tomorrow is the race at All Souls.

I have always been empathetic.....caring and taking credit of others needs. The time has come for me to put myself first. I had a wonderful time at Mahjong first at Pasteria nd then at Debbie's new apartment. I spoke about myself and my life freely and found that the girls sympathized and empathized.
Charlie is playing golf today and then taking me out to dinner. I feel myself different inside...taking care of me first. I have many chores to do today like a flu shot for example and at the end of the day....Plainview Meditation.

Last night I wanted to go to sleep at 9. Charlie could have watched a film in the kitchen. Instead he came upstairs, turned on the television and proceeded to watch a film until 10:30. I was really annoyed because I felt that this was really self-centered. It made me re-think my will as well as which development I would wish to move into in Westhampton.
Charlie left this morning and I'm cleaning and heading to Plainview Meditation and to play MahJong tonight.

I know that I didn't get to attend services because of the major forester that we are still having. I prayed at home. Being with Charles was wonderful. He is a very respectful and loving man. I made 2 wonderful Sukkot dinners with prayers.

Yesterday was Shabbat as well as the beginning of Sukkot. Charlie is spending the weekend with me and will go home on Monday. A horrific nor'easter began and I was so happy that Charlie was here.
I DID NOT go to services because of the horrific wind and rain. I will pray at home today. I have a wonderful sense of peace and quiet.

Yesterday I enjoyed everything that I did slowly and quietly. I got up with a smile today ready to face the new day. My periodontal checkup was a good one. I'm loving Plainview Meditation.
It's going to be a crazy weekend. We are getting a giant nor'easter BUT this time I have a generator. It will be Sukkot BUT I'm not sure about services. Charles will be with me for the long weekend. Tonite is the start of Sukkot with Shabbat.

Our date with the young couple...Kevin and Iris was really good. We definitely will see them again.

This happened during the High Holy Days.....Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. They were both beautiful holidays. They were both very spiritual. I sat in the first row of the synagogue and really prayed. I learned a lot about myself and I woke up much calmer and happy.

Yesterday after services we went to ROOSEVELT FIELD and FINALLY created the little statue that Freddy had given us as a wedding present. It is adorable. We had Japanese food for dinner in the new restaurant in Woodbury. We made plans for this coming Wednesday with Kevin and Iris, a new young Asian couple that we know from the Fairfield Apartments.
Today Charles sent a text to Hilary confirming plans to see Remi. We are able to see Remi again because Izzy intervened with Hilary.
Tonight is the beginning of Yom Kippur. I hope that the fast is an easy one and that the Almighty will bless me and Charles and my family and friends.
