GRATEFUL FORMY NEW LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty for my new retired life.

I went through a period where I was dissatisfied and wished life had treated me more kindly.

However the Almighty sent me yoga and because of this I learned to be content and accept the life that the Almighty has given me.

I rejoice with each activity that I do and each friend I spend time with.

Today I am rejoicing because it did not snow and I can go to yoga.

I am learning to let go of my disappointments and to move forward.  I am beginning to see misery in perspective.

Thank you Almighty for my new life.

I am grateful.

GRATEFUL FOR MY GROWTH- PART II

I am grateful to the Almighty for the growth that I have made.

I arrived home happily from two wonderful yoga classes and all my errands.

He was ready to begin again.

I had to lay it out for him in the quiet and small voice that I have perfected just for him.  I told him that years ago I participated in these "tennis match" conversations which went nowhere.  I have outgrown them.  I told him that if he has nothing to say he can be quiet.  I would not participate in the game anymore.

If he doesn't want a condo, that's fine with me.  If he doesn't want vacations that is also fine with me.

I basically took away all his leverage.  How sad!!!!

His solution was to take a nap.  After all, if you can't bully you need to hide.

Thank you, Almighty for my growth.

I am grateful!!!!

Later-  He certainly screwed up his dinner.  He had no real plan, just to frustrate.  With that in mind, I suggested that I have Japanese food and he have yogurt.   It work and I had a wonderful dinner.

GRATEFUL FOR MY GROWTH

I am grateful to the Almighty because I have seen a great deal of growth in me in the previous years.

Yesterday two of his family members stopped by on the way home from a Bat Mitzvah.  After a day of silence with me (because I have a list of topics that I won't discuss) it was amazing the way he perked up.   He speaks to one of these people daily,  charting everything that I do.  I know very little about these people nor do I care to know more after the history that they have with me.  This is fine with me as I have long ago given up the idea of being a family member.  As a matter of fact, years ago, I was told that I wasn't one and it stuck.

The visit was short and after they left he went back to silence.

I went back to my book which was amazing and I finished it.

I did chores and planned today.

I did find it interesting to watch him in action as though I were watching a mental patient.

I'm off to take two yoga classes in this frigid weather.  However the snow has melted and that allows me to be free.

I did think about my mother, of blessed memory.  She never grew even though she did have the opportunity to.

I am grateful to the Almighty for the growth in me.

Thank you!!!!!

GRATEFUL FOR THE COLD

I am grateful to the Almighty because it is very cold outside AND I DON'T HAVE TO GO TO WORK!!!!!!

I went to dinner last night with friends and in the snow and freezing cold I went to my Sisterhood Book Club.  Everyone was careful about how I got in and out of places.

This morning, it's only 60 degrees in the house.  I slept until 7:30 because I DON'T HAVE TO GO TO WORK!!

I'm going to a yoga class and to my Memory Workshop.

I'm celebrating my retirement and a cold winter where I DON'T HAVE TO WORK!!!

I am grateful to the Almighty for this.

Thank you!!!!!
