I am grateful to the Almighty because He revealed something in yoga that will change my life.

The instructor said to "see things as they really are" rather than the way you want them to be.

That is amazing because I have never done that before.  I have always lived in hope that things will change.

This new philosophy will really change the way I think.

GRATEFUL FOR A REALIZATION

I am grateful to the Almighty for the realization that I had today.

It is very unusual for me to have two posts BUT this realization was amazing.

I practiced yoga today.  The instructor's class theme was FREEDOM FROM FEAR.  I went deeper than that and started to think about how I AM BEGINNING TO SEE THINGS THE WAY THAT THEY REALLY ARE.

It was at this point I realized that I AM FREE!!!!!!

I have never had that feeling before and I was grateful to the Almighty that I have come to this point in my life.

Thank you Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW DAY

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a new day.

I am so grateful to the Almighty because He sent me to yoga.

It was there that I learned the yogic philosophy which has kept me safe and has given me a new perspective on my life and in my dealings with others.

GRATEFUL FOR SEEING THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me to see my life in perspective.

I appreciate all the good in my life.  I know that there will ALWAYS be waves but I will see them in perspective.  I will see misery in perspective too.  I will forgive so that I can move on with my own life BUT I will never forget.

Thank you Almighty for sending me to yoga to learn this.

GRATEFUL FOR FEELING FREE

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me to feel a sense of freedom in my life.

I loved the Woman's Meditation Circle and can't wait for it to begin in the Fall.  Sitting and talking about what the authentic me is has helped me to grow.

I'm feeling a sense of freedom as I begin to understand who I really am.

I am grateful and thankful to the Almighty for my many blessings.

GRATEFUL FOR MY NEW LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty because each day He gives me something to be happy about.

Yesterday was the party for the Plainview Summer Reading Club.  I won second prize!!!  It is a gift basket filled with adorable glasses and barbecue items.  I was thrilled!!!!!

I love walking and practicing yoga.  Today I will do both.

I have a book discussion to attend also.

Thank you Almighty for my new life.

GRATEFUL FOR THE NEW ME

I am grateful to the Almighty for allowing me to become the new me.  I have learned so much from the Almighty.  May He continue to walk by my side all the days of my life.

Yesterday we went to do Cemetery Sunday.  Dealing with him in a car is not a pleasant experience.  But I was able to use what I learned in yoga to get through it.  No matter what he said, good or bad, insult or not, I listened and paused........asking myself, is it true, is it kind, does it need to be said?  Knowing he was looking for a fight, I said nothing.

I was proud of the new me.

Today I will walk and practice yoga.  Chores need to be done too.

Tonight is the Summer Reading Wrap Party at the library.

GRATEFUL FOR MOVING FORWARD

I am grateful to the Almighty because I am slowly moving forward to enjoy my life.

I did not realize it until I stayed home this weekend to go to the cemetery before the Jewish holidays.

I have a life that is rich in many different activities and friends.

I am healthy.

I am peaceful.

I am calm and happy.

May it always be so.

GRATEFUL FOR YOGA

I am grateful to the Almighty for making it possible for me to practice yoga.

The instructor gave me a mantra that I will live by:


INHALE PEACE AND HEALTH............

EXHALE TOXIC THINGS..........................

I can live with this for the rest of my life.

In the evening I attended my Woman's Meditation Circle.  I learned to meditate outside laying down on the grass.!!!!  OMG!!!

This weekend we will not be going to the co-op as Sunday will be cemetery Sunday.  Tonight we will have Shabbos at home.

GRATEFUL FOR LETTING GO

I am grateful to the Almighty because after that horrific argument  about giving the baby my father's name as a middle name, I have truly begun to let go of them.

It feels really good.

My guess is that they would like to continue to abuse me BUT that isn't going to happen because I am letting go of that which doesn't serve me.  

It feels like I'm on vacation.

Thank you Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR UNDERSTANDING MY TRUE COLORS

I am grateful to the Almighty because as I look inside myself and I dig deeper, I discover the authentic person that I was meant to be.

I am beginning to accept change and transition without asking "WHY?"  

I am not clinging to the past.

I am beginning to recognize FALSE DREAMS and ILLUSIONS as I see my true colors.

This has allowed me to realize that I have done the best that I can possibly do and I am not responsible for the RESULTS or OUTCOMES.

This has made me free and able to enjoy my life.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL WEEKEND

I am grateful to the Almighty because He gave me the gift of a wonderful weekend.

After services at PJC on the Sabbath, we headed to Westhampton Beach and dinner in a new restaurant recommended by a yoga instructor named Nicey. It was  called The Mill Roadhouse.  It was wonderful.

Sunday I walked and practiced yoga at Yoga Shanti and then we went to the Westhampton Art Show.  This was followed by lunch at Pindar and dinner at Claudios in Greenport.

Today, Monday, I had a private yoga lesson at Yoga Shanti as I was the ONLY STUDENT in the class.

I am speaking to the older one now BUT that's it.

She really is history.  I will not forgive her this time for my Dad's name but I will let go of that which doesn't serve me and move on.

I am grateful to the Almighty for a wonderful weekend and for the ability to move on.

GRATEFUL FOR WHAT IS INSIDE ME

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has made me a strong and capable woman.

I practiced yoga with my friend Hollie as the instructor.  She talks about the fact that everything that we need to survive is inside us.

Although I will drop asking the older one to use my Dad's name as a middle name with the baby I will never forgive her.  Therefore when she accidentally received a text that I sent to her instead of my girlfriend letting my girlfriend know what she was without naming her, I was grateful.  It's out of the box.

She's annoyed though.  Isn't that amazing!!!  This Triad denies everything they do and I'm so glad that I have the strength to move beyond them.

She's a real bitch though.  After all these years of asking to sleep over, go to Omega or come to Westhampton Beach, she has chosen to vacation in Israel in her in-laws apartment with them!!!!

I was grateful to hear that and to learn that I am able to dig deeper into myself to understand myself and be proud of me.  

I am able to let go of that which doesn't't serve me.

It's a load off my shoulders.

I know that I am a strong and capable woman and I'm proud of me.

GRATEFUL FOR MY STRENGTH

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has made me a strong woman.

My periodontal appointment went very well and I'm not due back for six months.

I asked the older one to use my dad's name in her child-to-be's name.  She won't and this created an entire issue with her and the younger one.  I dropped the whole thing because at this point I'm writing them off as I have been doing slowly with each event and holiday.

I am continuing to enjoy the life that the Almighty has given me.

Tonight's Shabbos and tomorrow it's back to services.  The Rabbi is back from vacation and so am I.

We will leave tomorrow afternoon for the co-op and be back Monday night.

Life continues and I do too.  That's strength.

GRATE FOR MY NEW LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty for the new life that I am living.  I am working very hard to let go of that which doesn't serve me.

Last night's Yoga Nidra was awesome.

Today is my appointment with the periodontist.  I hope all will go well. I pray to the Almighty that it will.

GRATEFUL FOR BEING AND THE BREATHE

I am grateful to the Almighty because I am alive.

I am grateful for my being and my breathe and I have no expectations of anyone but myself.  Every day is a new beginning and I am open to the wonders of the day.

I will walk and practice yoga.  I will read and do a few chores.  Yesterday I purchased dresses for the Jewish New Year and a Bat Mitzvah that I will attend.

Tonight is Yoga Nidra.

Thank you Almighty for my being, my breathe, my health and my life.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL WEEKEND

I am grateful to the Almighty for giving me a wonderful weekend in Westhampton Beach.

We did so many wonderful things...........from the dinner at The Patio, to the Neil Sedaka concert, to the Art Exhibit in the little church, to the beach and the pool, to the yoga studio and to walking............it was amazing.
