GRATEFUL FOR LEARNING TO KNOW MYSELF

I am grateful to the Almighty because He saw fit to encourage me to practice yoga and it was there that I learned who I was.

I am able in my home and in the world to learn who I am and to enjoy my life knowing that the Almighty is always with me.

GRATEFUL FOR SELF-WORTH

I am grateful to the Almighty because each day I meditate using The Book of Awakenings and today I read about self-worth leading a person to self-love.

There was psychological abuse in much of my life.  At this juncture I am practicing self-love and care as well as self-with.

Today I'm excited because I will be meeting my new little granddaughter Madalyn Bean.

The visit was a wonderful success!!  Dana asked me to com with her to the pediatrician with Madalyn on February 5 and I booked it!!

GRATEFUL FOR THE GOODNESS OF ME

I am grateful to the Almighty because I practiced yoga in Leslie's class yesterday and she spoke of all of us who look at the negativity of all that we do.   She said that we should focus on the goodness that we have inside us.

All my life I was criticized by my mother the psychopath and the creature the psychopath/sociopath.

I was always a good and caring person and I will begin to focus on the goodness inside myself.

Today the weather was terrible so on this Sabbath I gave myself the gift of rest.  I read, relaxed and said my prayers.  I reviled in the goodness of myself amidst all of the psychological abuse throughout my life.  I was delighted to be able to enjoy my home something that I could never do while my abusers were alive.

Thank you Almighty for sending me to practice yoga.

GRATEFUL FOR TWA

I am grateful to the Almighty because I practiced yoga yesterday and it was there that I learned about TWA.

Yes, I do have thoughts.

Yes I do have words.

However I always have problems with actions and that's something to think about.

Last night I had a wonderful time playing MahJong at my house.  Dinner at the Greek restaurant was a lot of fun too.  The ladies gave me presents for Madalyn.

I am grateful to the Almighty for my life.

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me the ability to live right now..

The Almighty sent me to yoga where I learned about living in the present.

I am savoring each breathe I take.

It may take me a long time to understand the true nature of a person but I get there eventually. 

It is time for me to give up the false picture that I had made of Hilary and recognize her for the demonic psychopath that she is.

GRATEFUL THAT THE ALMIGHTY WALKS BY MY SIDE

I am grateful to the Almighty because He always walks by my side.

I have had a horrific stomach virus since Sunday, the day of Remi's second birthday party. Hilary did not bother to tell any of us that Remi had a bad virus from the night before.  She then proceeded to goad me as best she could.  

I had a difficult day today because of the emotional impact of this plus the after effects of my virus.  I re-scheduled my ride to meet Madalyn to Sunday, January 26th.

I have learned a great deal from this experience.

However I was able to go to the doctor yesterday for my echocardiogram.  I was also able to clean the entire house and pay bills!

I am going to be careful not to create dreams that don't exist.

I am grateful to the Almighty for walking by my side.

GRATEFUL FOR MY NEW LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty for my new life!!!

Yesterday was Remi's second birthday.  We had a lovely party at Hilary and Izzy's.

Today I was up at 5am to be at PJC at 6:15 to name my granddaughter Madalyn Bean.

Later......There was no greater joy than to name Madalyn at PJC among all my synagogue friends!!!!!!

I will practice yoga today and walk and read and enjoy my new life.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW CHAPTER IN MY LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty for helping me to begin the new chapter in my life.

I spoke with the Rabbi and firmed up naming Madalyn on Monday at the early service.  This weeks Torah portion spoke of the end of Jacob's life as being the best part.....17 years!!!  That's what the Rabbi wants for me.

I have been texting back and forth with Seth and it's a real blessing to do that.

Yesterday I walked at The Home Depot and practiced meditation at The Plainview Center.

Today I will go to Remi's second birthday party and enjoy myself.  I'm bringing the cake and I bought him a new car seat.

Thank you Almighty for a new chapter in my life.

Later.......The party was wonderful.....it was Shula, Ellie and me and we all had a wonderful time.

Tomorrow I will be at the morning minyan to name Madalyn!!

GRATEFUL FOR HEARING ABOUT SOFTNESS

I am grateful to the Almighty because I practiced yoga in Leslie's class yesterday.

She said that people our age have accomplished their goals and at this stage should be softer on themselves.

This resonated with me because I am my own worst critic.  I am exploring that in therapy.  Judith says that it comes from being criticized and insulted all my life.

I am trying to be less critical and softer with myself and with the Almighty's hep this can and will happen.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW LIFE

I am beyond grateful to the Almighty for my new life.

It will be Sabbath soon.

What can I say?

I am grateful to the Almighty because I lived to see the birth of a grandson and a granddaughter. May they grow with strength.  My daughters and are are getting along and I have a relationship with my sons- in- law.

I have friends who can call me, laugh or cry with me and drop off gifts freely without fear.

I have PJC, Absolute Yoga, Book Clubs, Walking....,.

Then there is Matzah.

Then there is Freddy.

Thank you Almighty for my new life.

GRATEFUL FOR WHAT I LEARN IN YOGA

I am grateful to the Almighty because He sends me to practice yoga and I learn so much.

Yesterday, in Margaret's class, she spoke about New Years Resolutions from a different perspective.  She talked about thinking of that which you need.  She also spoke about your purpose in life.  It certainly gave me a lot to think about.

Today I practiced yoga in Peggy's class.   She spoke of "This year I need to......"

All of these saying resonated so with me.  I need good health and peace and calmness in my life. I believe that my purpose now is to play.  The end of the sentence, "This year I need to........would be to nourish myself."

I am in a much better place than last year and I am grateful to the Almighty for this.

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me Madalyn Bean who was born on January 5, 2020 at 4AM and weighs 7 pounds 2 ounces.

I now have a grandson and a granddaughter.

GRATEFUL FOR A 2020 VISION

I am grateful to the Almighty because yesterday I practiced yoga in Leslie's class and she spoke of the word VISION as the word for 2020.

She incorporated the idea that we must get to know ourselves and that is definitely what I have been trying to do and succeeding.......

I also walked at The Home Depot while waiting for Madalyn to arrive.

Today is the Sabbath.  I will not be going to services.

I'm waiting for Madalyn to arrive.  I've spoken with everyone......all my friends, Sari, Dana, Hilary, Remi, Seth..... It is so different from the horrific life that I was forced to live but the joy is that IT'S OVER and the creature isn't here.

Hopefully all is well and Madalyn arrives soon.

I am grateful to the Almighty because as I write this........Madalyn is being born!!!!

A new little granddaughter this time......that I am waiting to meet!!!!

May the Almighty make her a healthy and happy baby.  May Dana and Seth live long to prosper to raise her.

GRATEFUL FOR MEDITATING

I am grateful to the Almighty because I have returned to the reading meditations that I had done in the past.

Yesterday, January 1, 2020 I began to again read, SIMPLE HAPPINESS, a poem by Remi daily and a daily meditative entry in THE BOOK OF AWAKENING.  I had stopped doing this but it was time to start again.  I will do all three each day.

Today I will practice yoga in Elyse's class.  I will also walk at The Home Depot.

I did practice yoga in Elyse's class and she spoke of not getting stuck.  I realize that life is always changing and that I have to change with it.  I am embracing myself because I love myself first and foremost!  It's time for me........I will not get stuck caring about everyone else EXCEPT MYSELF.

This afternoon I will meditate at Plainview Meditation.

GRATEFUL FOR EMBRACING MYSELF

I am grateful to the Almighty because yesterday I practiced yoga in Elyse's class and she spoke of embracing yourself.

That's my new goal for 2020.........to love and embrace myself.

Today is January 1, 2020!!!   Wow!!!

I will practice yoga in the studios New Year class and then walk at The Home Depot.

Today's house cleaning day and reading and being!!
