GRATEFUL FOR A SNOW DAY

I am grateful to the Almighty because this is the first snow of the new year.

It is also the first snow of my retirement!!!

Granted that it's only one or two inches but I'm still very happy.

I'm going to a yoga class.

I will walk at Home Depot.

I'm going to the movies and out to dinner.

I am grateful to the Almighty because I have come this far.

Thank you!!!!

GRATEFUL FOR MONDAY

I am grateful to the Almighty because today is Monday AND I AM NOT GOING TO WORK!!!!

I am celebrating my retirement by taking a Level 1 Yoga Class with Leslie and all my new yoga friends.   I am attending a very interesting book discussion afterwards at the library.  I have to renew a CD at the bank and then walk at Home Depot.

I am enjoying all the different things that I am doing in retirement.

I am grateful to the Almighty for this.

Thank you!!!!

GRATEFUL FOR WHAT I HAVE LEARNED

I am grateful to the Almighty for all the things that I learned in 2014 because they will serve me very well in 2015.

I created six intentions and have placed them in the music room where thy are visible to me.  They are just words (honor yourself, authentic, perception, acceptance, content, celebrate success and retirement) but each one means the world to me.

These words will keep me grounded in the face of adversity and the Almighty knows that when the weather is bad in the winter and one spends more time in the house, there can be a great deal of adversity.

I am off to take 2 wonderful yoga classes.  I have errands to run and then I'm going to Weight Watchers.

I am so grateful for what I have learned.

Thank you Almighty!!!!!

GRATEFUL FOR NEW BEGINNINGS

I am grateful to the Almighty for the new beginning to my life.

A new year brings a book of 365 blank pages.

I am going to try using all that I have learned to have a good year.

I enjoyed services and kiddush with friends a great deal.

I will enjoy the serenity of the Sabbath.

Thank you, Almighty for a chance at a new beginning.

I am grateful.

GRATEFUL FOR NEW BEGINNINGS

I am grateful to the Almighty for new beginnings in my life.

Today I took Leslie's yoga class and she spoke of each of us having new beginnings.

Each day is a blank page and it is up to us to fill it.

Today I used one of the six intentions that I created to have a wonderful day.

I'm proud of me.

I'm grateful to the Almighty for new beginnings.

Thank you!!

GRATEFUL FOR BEING GIVEN PERCEPTION

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has granted me the gift of perception.

I am making perception one of my intentions for 2015.

Perception will allow me to understand another persons point of view.  It doesn't mean that I agree with it but I am aware of where that person is coming from.  This will make my own life happier and healthier.

This morning he told me that he had spoken to his brother's wife and she wanted to know if his children had called him to wish him Happy New Year.  Is she a troublemaker?   Low self-esteem?  I could have told him what I thought of her but I chose not to because it would upset my life.

Today my goal is to take Leslie's yoga class.

I hope to walk this afternoon too.

Tonight is the Sabbath.  I am looking forward to that.  I made myself tofu for dinner and I'm doing the same thing tonight.  I'm looking forward to that.

I am grateful to the Almighty for the gift of perception.

Thank you!!!!!

GRATITUDE FOR ALL THAT I LEARNED IN 2014

I am grateful to the Almighty that I am healthy and happy.

I am grateful to the Almighty because of all that I learned in 2014.   All the false dreams have been let go of.  I am no longer planning vacations with him or buying another condo or spending the money that he won in 2 lawsuits. I am no longer listening to his stories and believing them. I am glad that I let go of those dreams because now I truly can make new dreams for myself.

I have set intentions for myself that I have hung up in the music room.

I see him for the false person that he is.

I awoke on this first day of January so contented and so happy.  I did not go out last night as was my choice.  I did not answer when he told me that he was bored.  I decided to make dinner and after dinner I listened to Classical music, lit my chocolate candle and read. There were no false dreams.  It felt wonderful.

This morning I've already done some chores, showered and soon will be on my way to yoga. It looks like a beautiful day to walk outside today and I plan to do just that.

I'm going to live in the moment and enjoy each moment.

Thank you Almighty for all the lessons that I learned in 2014.
