GRATEFUL FOR MY PASSIONS

I am grateful to the Almighty for the passions that I have had in my life.

One of my passions is being involved with Judiasm and the Almighty.

Another passion was working.  I chose to the an educator so that I could instruct children.  I chose to teach Social Studies and majored in History and minored in Education.  Later on I studied and received a Masters Degree in Special Education and the degree of Supervision and Administration.  My first Masters was in History/ Secondary Education Social Studies.

I worked at Marie Curie Junior High School, Lincoln Hall, DayTop and Boces.

Another passion is reading.  Yet another is walking.

In the generation that I was born in one got married in their early twenties and had children.  People really wanted to do this.

It wasn't me.  I did it anyway.

This morning I had a realization.   I DID NOT GET DIVORCED BECAUSE IT WOULD HAVE INTERFERED WITH THE CAREER THAT I WAS BUILDING.  THOSE CHILDREN WERE HORRIBLE AND I WOULD HAVE BEEN RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM.

I WAS ABLE TO SEPARATE MY LIFE AND HAVE A WONDERFUL CAREER AND LIFE WHILE HE WAS STILL THERE AND THEY WERE IN MY LIFE.

I was almost seventy when I retired. 


Thank you Almighty for the passions in my life and for the revelations that I have had.

I am grateful.

GRATEFUL FOR LIVING IN REALITY

I am grateful to the Almighty because He is helping me to live in reality.

I am no longer creating false dreams and illusions.

I am beginning to breathe.

Thank you Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR LEARNING HOW TO RESPOND TO CIRCUMSTANCES IN MY LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty because He allowed me to read a book called SIMPLE HAPPINESS and it was from that book that I learned how to respond to circumstances in my life.

It's all made up anyway.  Therefore I'm going to respond in a positive way.  I know that the people in my life tried to make my life horrible but I took each experience and made something good of it.

....Like the mini-units I created.
....Like the career that I had.
....Like the condo that I purchased.
....Like the walks that I took.


It's time to move forward again and not to go back to the beginning of time and mourn that which I didn't have.

I am grateful for the life that the Almighty helped me to create.

I am grateful that I am moving forward again.

GRATEFUL FOR LIVING IN REALITY

I am grateful to the Almighty because as of today and with His help, I will begin to live in reality.

I have spent my life looking for love because I had emotionally disturbed and abusive parents. I have extended this pitiful need for love to children and my brother.

It is now time to face reality.  It's time to leave all this behind and love myself.

I have been a success according to the standards of the world.

However I have done nothing to enjoy my life and just be.....

This is what I intend to do now with the Almighty's help.

Thank you Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR MY NEIGHBORS

I am grateful to the Almighty for giving me wonderful neighbors.

I was locked out of the house this morning and Keith and Renee were really helpful.

Thank you Almighty for sending them to me.

GRATEFUL FOR BEING A STRONG AND CAPABLE WOMAN

I am grateful to the Almighty because I am a strong and capable woman....

The Almighty is by my side in whatever I do.

I need not worry.

I need to have faith that He is there for me.

I do.

I am grateful.

GRATEFUL FOR THE FRIENDS THAT THE ALMIGHTY HAS SENT ME

I am grateful to the Almighty for all the friends that the Almighty has sent to me to help me and care about me in this difficult time in my life.

I am grateful that my children care about me too.

I wish that I had more patience to be able to take one day at a time.

I imagine that this will come in time.

I am grateful to the Almighty for standing by my side always.
