GRATEFUL FOR A NEW DAY

I am grateful to the Almighty because I am healthy and happy and He has given me a new day.

Yesterday was a wonderful day.   Dr. Kurtz replaced my temporary inlay and next Thursday I will be getting the permanent one.  I picked up DD coffee and had breakfast.  I was able to walk for two hours. I went to PJC to hand in dues and to the post office.  I made dinner and had it on the deck with Matzah who I had given a bath.  I read my new book.

Today it's raining which means that I will try to walk at The Home Depot with a mask of course. I'm getting my hair blown out also.

I'm still speaking to the 3 men that I met on the FaceBook dating site.  It's a lot of fun.  I feel like a pre-adolescent doing this but I am so enjoying it.

Thank you Almighty for this new day.

I am grateful.

GRATEFUL FOR THE NEW ADVENTURES IN MY LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty for all the new adventures in my life.

Yesterday I hosted a Luncheon In The Driveway at my house.  I love doing that. Debbie and Doris came.  It was so much fun and in the middle of that I received a text from Charles setting up next Tuesday's lunch date.  I the evening I spoke to both Richard and Mark.  None of this is serious but since I never really experienced adolescence the normal way, I'm having fun now!!!!

The town came to get rid of the tree that fell down.  Remi FaceTimed me at that moment and I was delighted to show this to him!!!

Today I'm off to the dentist because my temporary inlay fell out.

I might stop at Hicks on the way home.

I might speak to Judith if her power goes back on.

Life is good.

I am grateful to the Almighty for this.

Thank you.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW DAY

I am grateful to the Almighty for this beautiful, calm, and quiet new day.

The storm is over!!!!!!

Trees are down all over town as I saw when I went out to dinner with friends last night but I was safe and I am thankful to the Almighty for this.

A fellow named Charles called me from the FaceBook dating site.  We were on the phone fo two hours last night and he will call me to arrange a lunch date next week.

Today Matzah is going to the veterinarian for a shot and a bath.

It's my turn to host a luncheon in the driveway.

Life is good and I'm grateful to the Almighty for this.

Thank you.

GRATEFUL FOR MY STRENGTH AND RESILENCE

I am grateful to the Almighty for my strength and resilience.

Today we are getting a Tropical storm with 70 mile an hour winds and rain.  There could even be tornadoes!!!!

Yesterday I brought all the light furniture and the plants from the deck into the house.  I went food shopping and mailed bills at the post office.

I am ready for the storm!!!

Thank you Almighty.

I am grateful.

GRATEFUL FOR MY DAILY WALK

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has allowed me to be happy and healthy.

I try to take a walk daily either in the morning or evening for two hours.

My days are calm and quiet so that when I walk, I am able to appreciate nature.  This morning I heard the birds singing and watched the bunnies chasing each other. In another life, I had to have strategies for survival to keep me safe so that my mind could never focus on nature.

This morning I also watched gardeners as well as a tree pruning company prune a tree.  I had never seen things like this when I walked and I realized that I was walking later because I didn't have to escape from the house early so as not to hear the creature make his phone call.

So much in life has changed and I am grateful to the Almighty for this.

Thank you.

GRATEFUL FOR REST

I am grateful to the Almighty because I can finally rest if I choose to.

I slept until 10:30 and didn't have breakfast until close to 12:00.

I am spending the day just goofing off.

This is resting both my mind and body.

Thank you Almighty.

I am grateful.

GRATEFUL FOR GOING BACK TO SERVICES

I am grateful to the Almighty because I went back to services today at PJC.

The synagogue had opened in July BUT I wanted to see how things played out because two of the "regulars" had died of Covid 19.

I was happy to see the all CDC guidelines were followed.

I was so grateful to be back.

Thank you Almighty.
