GRATEFUL FOR BECOMING AWARE OF MYSELF

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me to become aware of my wants, needs, dreams and desires.

I practiced yoga in Hollie's class yesterday and this was the theme of the class.

I was exhausted at the end of the day.  It truly was a tough day.

Dana has Covid.  Matzah has a major rash and I will be bathing him with a shampoo that I received from the doctor.  There will be a snowstorm tomorrow too.  I went food shopping and to the post office.

Today I will be practicing yoga........getting my hair blown out and I have an appointment with Kyra.

I believe Charles will be sleeping over because of the storm.

Thank you Almighty for all that you have made me aware of.

I am grateful.

GRATEFUL FOR SELF-CARE

I am grateful to the Almighty because I have been practicing yoga in Leslie's class.  Her Word of the Year is RESILIENT and yesterday she spoke of SELF-CARE in order to achieve RESILIENCY.

Charles and I have been doing that since New Years Day.  Our intention is to eat healthy and exercise.  I have been doing just that.

Today I will practice yoga in Hollie's class.

Lots of chores to do too........Matzah has a vet appointment at 3:20.  I will go to the post office and do some food shopping.  I need to call ID to change my appointment and call Mike at AB Locksmith to fix my alarm........busy day.

To balance myself there will be newspapers and my book as well as yoga.

Thank you Almighty for teaching me about Self-Care.

I am grateful.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW DAY

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a new day.

I am happy.  I am healthy.  I wonder what adventures I will have today.

Later:

It has been a wonderful day.  I practiced yoga in Leslie's Stretch Class.  She spoke of her Word of theYear........Resilience.........  she also spoke of self-care.

Charles and I are doing just that......holidays are over and we have gone back to eating healthy and exercise.  I'm very proud of me!!!!

My aim today is to enjoy my home.  I will read newspapers and my book.  I will pay bills and redeem my credit card points.   Tonight I have a Sisterhood Zoom Meeting.  I will speak to Charles.

I am grateful to the Almighty for this new day.

Thank you!

GRATEFUL FOR BEING RESILIENT

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has made me a resilient human being.

I practiced yoga in Leslie's class yesterday. It is her custom to declare a word of the year.....the word is resilient......that's me.

That is what both my therapists....Judith and Kyra call me.  I have, with the help of the Almighty, survived many obstacles.

What was interesting is that Leslie also spoke of taking care of yourself to continue to be resilient. That is what I am doing.

Charles and I went back to eating a healthy diet on New Years Day.  We both agreed to exercise too.

He practiced yoga at the Nesconsett Library and I practice at Absolute Yoga.

I did some of my house cleanup today.  I filled in with food shopping at Trader Joe's.

Karen and Bob came over so that Bob could fix a few things and I gave Karen Xanax for Bethany.

Life is good.

I am grateful to the Almighty for making me resilient and giving me an incredible life.

Thank you.

GRATEFUL FOR REST AND RELAXATION

I am grateful to the Almighty for the Rest and Relaxation in my life.

Yesterday Charles and I were exhausted.  I imagine the entire holiday season hit us at once.

We napped after practicing yoga.

We played Scrabble, read newspapers and made a wonderful holiday gift.

I made dinner....he watched sports.......we watched 60 Minutes. We went to bed early.

Today I made oatmeal and Charles went home.  We are both practicing yoga this morning.

What a joy it is to be with him.

Thank you Almighty.

I am grateful.

This morning we are going to practice yoga........and then what?  Who knows?

Life is good and I am grateful to You Almighty for all that I have.

Thank you.

GRATEFUL FOR A QUIET NEW YEARS DAY

I am grateful to the Almighty for allowing me to have a beautiful......and quiet day.

Charles and I were at LA PIAZZA last night.  We had a beautiful dinner.  One of the stones fell out of my ring and Charles has to bring it back to Commack Jewelers to have it fixed.  I will miss it when it leaves to be fixed.

We came home to watch all the news stations bring in the new year.......it's 2022!

Today we got up late!   It's PAJAMA DAY!!!!  A quiet and beautiful day......

I will make tofu for dinner and we will start our diets!!!

Thank you Almighty for all the joy in my life.

I am grateful.
