Tonight is Christmas Eve.   I was at services at PJC yesterday.  I know who I am and I know who my beloved is.

I went to services and kiddish at PJC.

Charles came and we visited Anita and Ray.

I'm making chicken for dinner.

GRATEFUL FOR THE MOMENT

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I am learning to live in the moment and enjoy it.

Yesterday, not only did I clean the house...EXCEPT for one bathroom that I will do today, BUT I also got a manicure/pedicure BUT my jewelry was cleaned at Solomon's.   I had therapy with Kyra and walked at The Home Depot.  I even was able to talk to Karen and of course.... CHARLES!!

Today I will clean that bathroom.......get my hair blown out and pick up cards and medication at CVS.

I am grateful to the Almighty for teaching me to live in the moment.

GRATEFUL FOR LIVING IN THE MOMENT

 I am grateful to the Almighty because  although I suffer from PTSD.....I am slowly learning to live in the moment.

Last night was the Sisterhood MahJong Tournament.   I lost but I didn't come in last.

I really had fun.

Today I'm going for a mani/pedi and have an appointment with Kyra.

I am grateful for al that the Almighty has done for me.

GRATEFUL FOR MY BELIEF IN THE ALMIGHTY

 I am grateful because I believe in the Almighty.

He is my refuge when I get worried or upset.

GRATEFUL FOR WORKING ON MY INNER PEACE

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He is helping me to work on achieving inner peace.

The future is now and now is the time for me to enjoy life becoming peaceful and calm and being thankful for all the goals that the Almighty has helped me to achieve.

Today I will be bringing Matzah in for his medicinal bath and going food shopping.

I will be speaking with Charles in the early evening as tonight I have a Sisterhood Mahjong Tournament to go to.

I am grateful to the Almighty for helping me to continue to grow.

GRATEFUL FOR LEARNING THAT THE FUTURE IS NOW

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I had a wonderful weekend with Charles .

The most important part was attending services at All Souls Church in Stonybrook where the homily dealt with the fact that for all of us seniors RIGHT NOW IS THE FUTURE and we must learn to live in it.

That so resonated with me and it's something that I will keep in my thoughts.

The rest of the weekend was wonderful including a great visit from FREDDY.  Charles and I showed him our apartment and the beauty of St. James including the beaches.  We went to Mannino's.

We went shopping and Charles bought me a Chai for my birthday and I bought him 2 Christmas presents....HOKA  sneakers and a set of pots and pans.

Thank you Almighty for the things that I am learning.

GRATEFUL FOR BEGINNING TO UNDERSTAND MY NEEDS AND WANTS

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I am beginning to understand my needs and wants.

I attended services today and it was lovely.

I will be heading out to our apartment and I'm beyond excited.

I'm so happy that we rented this place together.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW DAY

 I am grateful to the Almighty fr this beautiful new day.

I am happy and healthy and ready to begin the day.

I did so much yesterday starting with finding Freddy so he could fix my sinks.  I cleaned 2 bathrooms and the kitchen.  I had my nails done.  I read the papers and took Matzah for his medicinal bath.  I spoke to friends.  I made dinner too.

Today is a quieter day.  I' getting my hair colored and then preparing for the Sabbath.  I will also begin packing because tomorrow after services I'm driving out to Charlie and will be there until Tuesday.

I am grateful to the Almighty for this new day.

GRATEFUL FOR FUN EXPERIENCES

 I am grateful to the Almighty for all the fun experiences in my life.

Yesterday was Charles' Holiday Party.  He slept over the night before as he had gone to a Rangers game.   We left for the party in Bayshore at 11:15.....it started at 12:00.  We won 2 raffles and had a blast.

I came home and later I attended the Sisterhood Book Club which also was fun.

Today is a quiet day filled with cleaning, chores and Matzah going for his medicinal bath.

GRATEFUL FOR CHARLES IN MY LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He sent Charles into my life.

Charles slept over because he went to a Rangers game in the city last night. I left the door unlocked and the alarm off.  I was sound asleep when he came not my bed!!!!  Wow!

This afternoon we went to his Union Holiday Party and I won 2 baskets.

Dinner was delicious.

Tonight I'm going to a Book Discussion from Sisterhood at PJC.

I spoke to Margie and made plans for next week.

I am grateful to the Almighty for loving me.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL WEEKEND

 I am grateful to the Almighty for allowing me to have a wonderful weekend with Charles.

Saturday night began with a concert at Old Souls Church in Stonybrook followed by a delicious dinner.

Sunday we got Charles Christmas tree.  We went to The Wine Guy and bought wine and Christmas liquor.  We also bought a chicken.

We had a terrific rain storm but by that time we were indoors having a lovely Sunday afternoon.....Charles watching a football game and me reading.

Charles lit the Menorah for the fourth day and I said the blessings.

I made a delicious chicken dinner and we watched The Guilded Age.

Today we decorated the tree after breakfast,  Charles buys me 7/11 coffee.

It was a dream weekend.

I came home to be ready to have dinner with the girls and play Mahjong.

GRATEFUL FOR HAPPINESS

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the happiness in my life.

Yesterday Charlie and I went to a wonderful holiday luncheon at the Smithtown Historical Society. We then visited his sister Anita because Elizabeth was there.  We came home to light the first Hanukkah candle!

Today Charlie left to see if he and his friend Dan can get into a sports talk show in Glen Cove that is live.

I will be having a quiet day.....tomorrow after services I will be headed to St. James and our apartment with Matzah.

GRATEFUL BECAUSE THE ALMIGHTY IS WATCHING OVER ME

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He is watching over me.

Each day has it's work BUT each day is enjoyable.  I NEVER had that before and I'm grateful to the Almighty because of this.

This afternoon Charles and I are attending The Smithtown Historical Society Holiday Luncheon.  I'm smiling as I write this because I'm beyond excited.  Charles is sleeping over also.  I invited him to because he wants to deliver gifts to Anita.

GRATEFUL FOR AN ENJOYABLE LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty for giving me a new and enjoyable life.

I completed food shopping yesterday in north TRADER JOE'S and SHOPRITE.

Charles went with me to get my second key for the RAV at Westbury Toyota.  He did some Christmas shopping and bought me a pair of Hanukah socks.  I took him to dinner at DIRTY TACO.

Charles slept over and we "play fought" this morning.

Ice left and I brought Matzah in for his medicinal bath.  I mailed my bills, bought stamps, went to the post office, bought dog food in PETCO and chickens at WOODBURY KOSHER.

I have cleaning and reading to do PLUS Rachael and I are working on another CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT.

I am grateful to the Almighty for my enjoyable life.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW DAY

 I am grateful to the Almighty for a new day.

I am happy.  I am healthy.  All this is thanks to the Almighty.

Last night I had dinner at the Hicksville Diner with the girls and then hosted Mahjong at my house where I won 2 games with new hands.

Charles will be here this afternoon.  We need to go to Toyota in Westbury to pick up my second key. Then we are going to the Walt Whitman Mall because Charles needs to do shopping.  I bought my Chanukah gift from Charles on line yesterday......it's a beautiful MahJong set.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all the good in my life.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL WEEKEND WITH CHARLES

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the wonderful weekend that I had with Charles.

I left after services with Matzah on Saturday.

We ate out in a fabulous restaurant in Patchogue and then we saw THE BAND at the Patchogue Theatre.  They were wonderful.

Sunday it really rained and we hung out in the apartment.  We caught up on The Guilded Age.  We read.  I made dinner in my beautiful new kitchen.  It was wonderful.

Today we went to The Sports Book Club and Charlie and I volunteered to facilitate the next book.

Tonight I'm going to The Hicksville Diner for dinner with the girls and then were going to play Mahjong at my house.

Thank you Almighty for this wonderful weekend and my wonderful life.

GRATEFUL FOR LEARNING TO LET GO OF THINGS THAT DON'T SERVE YOU

I am grateful to the almighty because He has taught me to let go of that which doesn't serve me so that I can heal.

I have been diagnosed with PTSD.  As such I need to let go of Hilary because through th years she has done many hurtful things to me and it doesn't change.  Yesterday's FaceTime call while going to a Sabbat dinner is an example of that.

I will be brave.  I will be strong. I will let her go.

GRATEFUL FOR THE CALM IN MY LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the calmness in my life.

It's such a joy in the beginning of December NOT to have to jump out of bed to go walk.....to read....rest....relax when I want to.

Yesterday I went for a manicure and did a bunch of chores.  I even walked at The Home Depot. Today I will also do some chores, walk at The Home Depot and get my hair blown out.

Today is the Sabbath and tomorrow I will be going to services and then to Charles for a wonderful weekend.

 I am grateful to the Almighty because tonight is the beginning of the Sabbath and it's a time for me to slow down.

Today I will be at the I.D. Salon where Nick will be putting high lights in my hair....blue ones!!!

Tomorrow Charlie is coming and I will be at services.

I'm slowly getting ready for Thanksgiving in Virginia.Charlie and I leave Monday.

GRATEFUL FOR AN OVERNIGHT WITH CHARLES

 I am grateful to the Almighty because Matzah and I had an overnight with Charles at our apartment and it was wonderful.

Today is the Creatures birthday and Charles and I celebrated with a wonderful dinner at Luso a Portuguese restaurant in Smithtown.

I came home today to a therapy session with Judith.....a mani/pedi and dinner at Mario's since Charles and I are leaving for Virginia on Monday.

I am grateful to the Almighty for the good in my life.

GRATEFUL FOR A TRIP TO CHARLES

 I am grateful to the Almighty because Today I am making a short trip to Charles and will be home TOMORROW.

The couch and the cocktail table are arriving TODAY and I'm going to see them.

I'm taking Charles out to dinner so that we can celebrate the Creature's passing.

GRATEFUL FOR NEW ADVENTURES

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the new adventures and new changes in my life.

I read my Meditation Books as usual this morning.  Today I read about how a person should applaud the new adventures in ones life instead of lamenting about the past.

I'm going to work on that and am grateful that I read this.

I will focus on my wonderful decision to have a second home.......an apartment out east in St. James with Charles......it's a great adventure!!  Tomorrow our sofa and cocktail table will arrive. OMG! Matzh has a medicinal bath tomorrow. When I pick him up we are heading to the apartment to see our new furniture and to celebrate the Creatures death.

I went to FV Cleaners to shorten the pants that I bought at Cindi's.  I went to the bank for new checks too.  I mailed bills and since Charles and I are going to Virginia next week....there is O food shopping so I went to Pasteria for dinner.

I am grateful for all my new adventures.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL WEEKEND

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the wonderful weekend that I had with Charles.

I ate Sabbath dinner with Matzah on Friday because after I spoke to Charles, I wanted to go to bed early so I could attend services on Saturday.

I thoroughly enjoyed services and the coffee hour after with my friends.

I drove out to St. James on Saturday afternoon and what a wonderful weekend it was.

We hung around our apartment on Saturday and Matzah got used to walking and running around.

We had incredible sex too!!

Charles brought in dinner from Uncle Giseppi and I made a delicious Saturday.

We went to Reymour and Flannigan and found a beautiful sofa and cocktail table which are coming on Wednesday when Matzah and I sleep over until Thursday.   We bought edibles in Farmngdale and went to The Wine Guy for Elizabeth's gift of 3 bottles of delicious wine.

I made a delicious chicken on Saturday with burned broccoli (Michael's recipe).

I came home today because it's a Mahjong night and we are having dinner in Golden Temple.

I have made a lunch date with Anita and Ray for January 3.

I am grateful to the almighty for the restful and relaxing weekend that I had with Charles.

GRATEFUL FOR LEARNING TO LET GO

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I am again learning to let go of that which doesn't serve me so I can heal.

In this instance....it's Dana and I need to let go of all the grief that she brings into my life with all her impulsive behaviors and I will.

This weekend I will be going to services and then driving out to our new apartment and spending the weekend with Charles.

I am so grateful o have Charles in my life, Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR REST AND RELAXATION

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has sent Charles into my life. It is from Charles that I learned NOT to be guilty about REST and RELAXATION.

It has been a very tough week.  Dana called all day Tuesday about her impending meeting with Seth and his lawyers.   The plan was that she would drop Madalyn off here Thursday night.....sleep over.....go to the meeting on Friday....sleep over until Saturday.  The hysteria in Dana was unmanageable and it took it's tole on me.    I had a "date" with Charlie to go to a PJC Fundraiser at Governor's Comedy Club and Dana and Madalyn sleeping over would be tough.  I was willing to do it.   Today I called and discovered that both Dana and Madalyn went to school and there was NO MEETING.  Dana lies all the time.  Had there ever been a meeting?  My heart broke because of Madalyn.

I needed to do shopping for my trip to Virginia next week so I went to Athleta and Cindi's.

Matzah needed another medicinal bath and I had a dentist appointment to fix my bonding and a cleaning.

Charlie slept over after the comedy club.

I woke up this morning exhausted.  I took the entire day for rest and relaxation as I learned from Charlie.

I am so grateful that the Almighty sent Charles into my life.

GRATEFUL FOR BEING STRONG AND RESILIENT

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has made me a strong and resilient woman.

Matzah has a second medicinal bath today and I had a dental cleaning with Kathy and Dr. Kurtz fixed my bonding.

Everything turned out very well and I was very grateful.

I am working on getting Manny to pick up my fur coats as he lives in Plainview.

Tonight Charles and I are going to Governor's Comedy Club as a PJC Fundraiser.

Charles will be sleeping over.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all that He has done for me ESPECIALLY making me a strong and resilient woman.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW DAY

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I woke up to a beautiful new day.

Yesterday I accomplished so much.

I went to Athleta and bought and bought a bunch of new clothes with my points.

I cleaned.....I read....I spoke to friends....I spoke to Charles.

Today I'm going to Cindi's because I need new clothes for my trip to Virginia.  I haven't bought new clothes in years.

I will pick up Matzah's medication also.

Eventually I will return to exercising.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all that He allows me to do.

 I am grateful to the Almighty because today is going to be a quiet and peaceful day.

It was a wonderful weekend with Remi.......today will be peaceful and quiet.

GRATEFUL FOR MY NEW LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty for my new life.

After driving in from St. Jams yesterday,  I met my friends and ate out at Greek Xpress.....the place where I first met Charlie before coming back to my house to play Mahjong.  I won the last game!!!  Wow!

Today I will food shop and sadly tonight I have to pay a shiva call.

Life is normal....life is wonderful.

I am grateful to the Almighty for my new life.

GRATEFUL FOR A JOYFUL WEEKEND

I am grateful to the Almighty for the joyful weekend that Charlie and I had.

I have dubbed us "the unmarried" and also the "unloving together."

I spent my first weekend in my new apartment.  The weekend was beyond perfect.  It began with Gus's party as he was inducted into the St. John's Hall of Fame on Saturday night.  Sunday we purchased a bookcase and a full length mirror.  We decided where our pictures would be.  Dan will visit and hang them up next week.  I MADE DINNER AND IT WAS DELICIOUS.  We had to go to KEY FOOD to pick up a few more ingredients.

Matzah came with us and he was absolutely wonderful.

Next weekend Remi is visiting us in Plainview next weekend and then it's back to my second home each weekend.

We are having a bit of Indian Summer which means that after my chores are done I hope to be able to take a walk.  Yesterday I was able to and I hung out with Lenny for a bit.

This is going to be a very special weekend as I will attend services tomorrow and then Matzah and I will head to our second home with Charles for the weekend.

Charlie and I went to see BEAUTIFUL last night at the NORTHPORT THEATRE.  The songs and the style of dress brought back memories of my entire life.  Charlie and I had a wonderful time!!

Charlie slept over and Matzah was delighted.  This coming weekend Matzah and me will be at our second home.   Wow!!

Charlie helped me to fill out the paperwork for the TEACHERS RETIREMENT SYSTM OF THE NYC BOARD OF EDUCATION.  I was so grateful.

Today will be a rather quiet day filled with chores.
