GRATEFUL FOR A NEW DAY

I am grateful to the Almighty for this beautiful new day that He has given me.

I am off to services this morning.  I will walk, read and practice Mindful Meditation this afternoon.

I am grateful that I practiced yoga yesterday.  Our instructor spoke about one of the principles in The Gita.  She said that ONE MUST DO THE WORK AND THEN ACCEPT THE RESULTS.  I had read that in the Gita and it sounded so right to me.

I do the best that I can in everything that I do.  The failing that I have is that I constantly think: IF ONLY!!!!!!!!

I need to get beyond that and learn to accept the results.  I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RESULTS.

Thank you Almighty for encouraging me to practice yoga.

Thank you for this beautiful new day.

I am grateful.

GRATEFUL FOR ANOTHER DAY

I am grateful to the Almighty because I awoke happy and healthy on another day!!

The sun is shining.  I will practice yoga this morning and do some chores.

I hope to walk in the afternoon.

The holiday of Simchat Torah is this week and that will end our four weeks of Jewish holidays. I have enjoyed each one.

I am grateful to the Almighty for my life.

Thank you.

GRATEFUL FOR THE SABBATH

I am grateful to the Almighty because today is the Sabbath.

I will attend services at PJC.  It is a rainy day so that I don't think that there will be a Sukkoh Hop.  It is a very spiritual time for me as I think about how grateful I am to the Almighty for this wonderful week.  Everything that I enjoyed I did myself or with friends and that is a wonderful thing.

I will probably walk at The Home Depot.  I will practice my Mindful Meditation.  I will finish my book and begin another.

I am grateful to the Almighty for this Sabbath.

Thank you.

GRATEFUL FOR BEING A LIFE-LONG LEARNER

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has made me a life long learner.

Yesterday at yoga, I learned about THE PAUSE that you can make in each conversation as you think about what, if anything, should be your response.  A response can be as simple as THAT'S INTERESTING!!!!

I had dinner with an old friend yesterday.  He and I go back many years.  It was an enjoyable evening.

Today I will walk and practice yoga.

I am getting my hair blown out too.

The Sabbath starts tonight.

I am grateful to the Almighty for BEING and THE BREATHE.

I am grateful for each healthy day that I have.

Thank you, Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR THE CHANGES IN MYSELF

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me to make so many changes in my life.  He has helped me to be aware of making changes too.

I try hard to live in the moment and appreciate it.  I catch myself each time I try to live in the past and I move forward.

I try to be calm and quiet and to give myself a sense of inner peace.

I try not to teach or explain.  That in itself is so big because teachers like me always try to adapt, teach or explain something.  Now I just listen.

All of these changes allow me to have so many new experiences or just to breathe and be.

I am grateful to the Almighty for this.

Thank you.

GRATEFUL FOR BEING IN THE MOMENT

I am grateful to the Almighty because He brought me to yoga.

It is here that I am learning to be in the moment.  That is no small task because I have always been in the past and the future.

I realized that the present is inside me to enjoy.  The future is out there for me to access when I get there.  However the past is with him and that's where I have to be careful when I'm around him.

Yesterday, the second day of Sukkoth was perfect.  I went to services and kiddush in the sukkah.   I walked.  I read.  I practiced Mindful Meditation.  In the evening when the holiday was over I attended a book club.

Today I will walk.  Indian Summer is still here.  I will practice yoga.  I will do some chores and in the evening I will attend my Mindful Meditation course.

Thank you Almighty for these moments.

I am grateful.

GRATEFUL FOR EACH MOMENT

I am grateful to the Almighty for each and every moment of my new retired life.

I am going to work on living in the moment and not judging it.

I am going to try to enjoy each moment of my life and appreciate that I am happy and healthy and capable of doing that which I choose to do.  I will do things without looking for their rewards.  I learned that while reading The Gita!!!!

I am grateful to the Almighty for each moment.

I'm off to services this morning for the second day of Sukkoth. Its beautiful outside and I intend to read, walk, relax, practice Mindful Meditation and just "be" during this beautiful day.

Tonight after the holiday is over I will attend my book discussion.

I am grateful to the Almighty for each moment of my new life.

Thank you.
