GRATEFUL FOR MY NEW LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a new life and I am happy with it.

I am content.  I accept.  I am grateful that I have a new life.

Yesterday I practiced yoga and spent most of the day, in this next heat wave, swimming at the pool and talking to people.  I set up the living room for the book discussion tonight which I am proud to say for the second time is being held in my house.  I did some chores and in the evening I had dinner with a friend.

Today I will practice yoga and meditate.  I have chores to do.  I have therapy.  I'm having dinner with my friends and will host the book club.

I am grateful to the Almighty for my new life.

GRATEFUL FOR BEING ENOUGH

I am grateful to the Almighty because "I am enough."

I am a complete person.

Last night I again hosted my Mahjong game.  Everyone had a wonderful time and we are learning also!!!

Today I will practice yoga and meditate.

I will be at the pool too.

I'm going out with friends for lunch and dinner.

I am grateful to the Almighty because I am complete.

GRATEFUL FOR OPENING UP TO THE UNIVERSE

I am grateful to the Almighty because I am beginning to understand how He wants me to live.

He wants me to accept what the universe is offering me and to enjoy it.

Last night I went to dinner with Shula and Ellie. We had drinks and chatted on the deck prior to going out.  It was a lot of fun.

Today I will meditate and practice yoga.

I have some chores to do also and I hope to get to the pool.

The Mahjong ladies are coming for tonights game.

Life is good.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all that He has given me.

GRATEFUL FOR LIVING IN THE PRESENT

I am grateful to the Almighty because I am living in the present and savoring and enjoying the moment.

Services were very spiritual yesterday.  I love hanging to with my friends at kiddish and coming home to peace an quiet.

I went to the pool yesterday and read and talked to friends and just enjoyed the moment of being. One of my friends was shocked that I was actually in the pool.

I came home to eat dinner on the deck and look at the planes flying by.

Wow!!!

Today I will practice yoga and pick up the cookies and cake for Wednesday when I am again hosting the Sisterhood Book Club.

I'm gong to clean the house too.

Shula and Ellie are coming and we are going out to dinner.

I am grateful to the Almighty for my new life.

GRATEFUL FOR BEING CONTENT

I am grateful to the Almighty because I practiced yoga yesterday and Leslie spoke of being content with what you have.

I realized in that moment that I am content with my life and I accept it and all of its adventures and possibilities.

More than that I am grateful to the Almighty for my new life.

Today I will attend services and then spend the day at the pool.

I am grateful to the Almighty for a beautiful new day and all its possibilities.

Today I slept until 7:30 because I was safe and secure.

I will practice yoga.

I will have my hair colored and blown out.

I plan to walk and have Shabbos dinner on the deck.

GRATEFUL FOR LIVING IN THE MOMENT

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has sent me to yoga and I continue to learn to live in the present moment.

The trauma in my life is gone.  It is in the PAST.  It will resurface every now and then BUT each day it will continue to stay in the PAST as I live in the PRESENT.

Life is a great deal of fun and I am enjoying every minute of it.

I'm going to have my nails done today and tonight I will have dinner with friends.

Thank you Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR BECOMING AWARE OF FEELINGS

I am grateful to the Almighty because through yoga He has made me aware that at home I have always hidden my feelings.

I don't have to now......

I'm free to become aware of the feelings in my mind, body and spirit.  I'm free to feel them at home and notice I can say that this is my home.

This morning I got out of bed at 7:30 because my body wanted to rest and no one can threaten me.  I rescheduled Meditation to 12:45, after yoga because I can!!!!

I plan on walking and I'm having coffee with the ladies at Starbucks at 7:30 tonight.

I am aware that I am free and am rising to the occasion.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all this.

GRATEFUL FOR A CALM MORNING

I am grateful to the Almighty for a calm morning.

It is so wonderful to enjoy my home before I go off on my adventures for the day.

I've done some chores too.

I invited Shula and Ellie to have dinner with me on Sunday.

Depending on the weather, I might walk.

Tonight's the Mahjong game at my house.

It was a calm morning and a calm day and I am grateful to the Almighty for this.

GRATEFUL FOR SMILING

I am grateful to the Almighty because I am smiling this morning and it the Almighty who has helped me to smile.

We are in the middle of a heat wave.   I did not walk at The Heart and Sole Race but I did pick up my tee shirt.   I put gas in the truck and had coffee at Dunkin' Donuts and then it was off to practice yoga.  From there I went to Trader Joe's.  I'm making tofu stir fried tonight and I needed the ingredients.  I was going to go out to eat but it's too hot.

I came home to have breakfast and read The New York Times.

I am really enjoying my home.

Matzah is going for a grooming today.  He looks wonderful!!!

I finished read The Gown for the Sisterhood Book Club which I will host on the 31st of July.  It was a pleasure to sit in my new yoga room and read.   I was able to contrite, enjoy and absorb the book.

I am smiling as I look back upon my day.  

I am grateful to the Almighty for my smile.

GRATEFUL FOR LEARNING ABOUT MY CORE

I am grateful to the Almighty because I practiced yoga yesterday.

The instructor spoke about getting to know yourself, getting to know who you are, your wants and needs, your dreams and desires.

I am beginning that process.

Each of my adventures teaches me something about myself.  But the most important thing is that I'm allowed to be myself.

Yesterday Dana and Seth became engaged.  Sari, Dana and Seth all  called me and I was able to speak to them without monitoring myself to see if what I said would get me in trouble with my abuser.

I so recognized that as I saw the emergence of myself.

Today I will attend services and meditate.  We are in the middle of a heat wave and I'm so glad that I will get to enjoy my home.............especially my yoga room.

Thank you Almighty for all you have done for me.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all the joy in my life.

GRATEFUL FOR LEARNING TO LOVE MYSELF

I am grateful to the Almighty because He sent me to yoga and the instructor spoke of self love.

I am going to begin to love myself.

The first thing that I need to do is banish all thoughts of Martin and my mother in the early morning.  I intend to think of this as having been in a concentration camp called EISBERT and now I'm free.  In order to move forward I also need to recognize that there will be triggers and move forward.

I need to love myself.

Today the furniture for my yoga room is coming.  I am beyond excited.  I will spend the day putting the room together.  It's a horribly hot, humid and rainy day....perfect weather for me to get the job done.

Yesterday in yoga the instructor also spoke of resilience.  She said that if we feel depleted we should do something for ourselves. 

The yoga room is my present to myself.

Thank you Almighty for teaching me to take care of me.

GRATEFUL FOR LIVING IN THE MOMENT

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has taught me through yoga to live in the moment and I'm trying to do just that.

It's hard at time when I'm triggered but I try very hard to come right back.

Last night I went to Bingo and Sangria at PJC.  I had a really good time.

Today I will practice yoga and then attend the Yoga Book Club.  That's always fun.

Dom is coming over to try to make sense of what I'm paying in taxes.

Life in the moment is good.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW DAY

I am grateful to the Almighty for a new day.

There is a whole world out there that I can enjoy.  Today I will practice yoga and have lunch with my friends.  Tonight I have Bingo and Sangria at PJC.  Last night we played Mah Jongg at my house.

These are adventures that I can have peacefully and joyfully.

GRATEFUL FOR SLOWING DOWN

I am grateful to the Almighty because I have learned to slow down.

There is really no need to get up early and rush out of the house.

I am safe and  am grateful for this.

I ate breakfast and read the papers.  I didn't practice yoga because I had fallen down the stairs on Saturday before Hilary, Izzy and Remi came ad I'm still black and blue.  I did however go to the bank and the post office.  I bought a new pair of sneakers at Incredible Feet.  I got the car washed and paid bills.  I read.

Tonight I'm playing Mah Jong in my house like I should have been able to do years ago.

I am grateful to the Almighty for this.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty for my wonderful new life.

This weekend was amazing!!!!   It began with me picking up Hilary, Izzy and Remi and going to the Plainview pool.  We had a wonderful time in the water.  Remi has learned to say GRANDMA and he said it over and over again.  I asked if they would like to go out to dinner and they did.  We went to Pasteria where I introduced them to all the waiters.

Today I went to the pool again and this time I went in the water!!!!

The only difficulty is that Matzah ate my new night guard and I need another one.

I am grateful to the Almighty for my new life.

GRATEFUL FOR MY SPIRITUAL JOURNEY

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me to begin my spiritual journey.

I am looking inside myself to see who I am.

I was never able to do this because I always had to have strategies to keep myself safe and secure.  However the time has come.

I am grateful to the Almighty for this.

GRATEFUL FOR THE JOY IN MY LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty for all the joy that I now experience in my life.

Yesterday I did many chores.........Trader Joe's, CVS, a beach ball for Remi, gas for the truck, the post office and Fairway but it was a joy to do.

Mario fixed the sprinkler.

I went to Charlie Wasserman's PJC Retirement.   I had an amazing time.  I haven't had so much fun since  was a teenager going to the beach with my friends!!!!!

I approached everything with excitement and joy.......joy that I'm free.........joy that I can live life to the fullest.

Today I will practice yoga.  I'm getting my hair blown out and a manicure/pedicure.  I'm going to a Gong Meditation workshop at my studio this evening and then out to dinner with my friend Marilyn.

I am grateful to the Almighty for the joy in my life.

GRATEFUL FOR A BALANCED LIFE

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me a balanced life of work and play.

Last night I attend a Ritual Committee meeting.  I sit on Ritual Committee and I enjoy it very much.  I was never able to go regularly but now I can.

Today I am home because the sprinkler man is coming to fix some of the heads.  My financial planner will also be here.

I will walk too.

Tonight I am attending the retirement dinner of the President of Plainview Jewish Center.  I am very excited to be attending as I was never able to do this before my abuser died.

I am grateful to the Almighty because I am leading a balanced life.

GRATEFUL FOR MOVING' ON

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me to move on.

I'm loving my life.

Today I will meditate and then practice yoga.  I will walk.  I will read.

I have a therapy appointment and then I will meet with the Rabbi because I am overseeing the caterers kitchen while the Rabbi is away.

I have a Ritual meeting in the evening.

Life is good.

Freddy finally finished everything yesterday.  The house looks wonderful.

It is my home.

Thank you Almighty for helping me to move on.

GRATEFUL FOR NEW ADVENTURES

I am grateful to the Almighty for all the new adventures in my life.

I am so calm as I enjoy each one of them.

Yesterday I practiced meditation.  I also practiced yoga and I walked.  I did some food shopping in ShopRite instead of Fairway and I made tuna for dinner!!!!!  

Today I  practiced yoga and had lunch with the ladies.  A book discussion followed at the library. I'm got the truck inspected and he passed with flying colors.  I walked.

Freddy came to shampoo the rugs.  They look amazing!!!!!

I am so beyond grateful to the Almighty for my life.

GRATEFUL FOR FREEDOM

I am grateful to the Almighty because I am finally free. 

Yesterday I practiced yoga and walked.

I went to the PJC picnic and had a wonderful time laughing and chatting with everyone.

Today I will meditate and practice yoga.

I love my new life and I am grateful that I am free to choose what I wish to do.

GRATEFUL FOR FREEDOM

I am grateful to the Almighty for the freedom that I have and the peace and contentment that I feel.

Yesterday was the Sabbath.  It is such a joy to attend services and chat with friends.  I feel so welcome and it makes me very happy.  I will be monitoring the caterer's kitchen while the Rabbi is away.  I am working on a committee to creative a recognition breakfast for older members.

I was able to work for almost 2 hours yesterday.  It was after I came home from services in the middle of the day.  I read the newspapers quietly too.  I sat on the deck with Matzah.  I read my book for the yoga book club before I went to sleep.

Today I practiced yoga.  I got weighed at Weight Watchers.  I walked for an hour.

PJC had its yearly picnic at the pool.  It was wonderful.  I hung out with so many people. I'm beyond happy. 

Thank you Almighty for all the joy in my life and for the fact that I'm free.

GRATEFUL FOR MY PERCEPTION OF FREEDOM

I am grateful to the Almighty because on this July 4th weekend I have much to celebrate.  

I live in a free country.

I am free.  It took me a while to understand the concept.  I was so abused by my mother and the creature that I married that I had no concept of freedom. I knew how to be afraid, beg for love, create strategies for survival and keep out of the way of my abusers.  I did not know how to be free or enjoy freedom.  I knew how to keep myself safe.

I finally have a positive perception of freedom and I am loving it.  I am free in the present.  All we have is the present.  The rest is a false picture which needs to be burned in the hot sun.

Yesterday I practiced meditation and then I practiced yoga.  I invited my friend Margie to join the class and she loved it and is coming back on Monday for class and then we will do lunch.  I was able to walk and do some chores.  Freddy put all the furniture back on the deck and I used it last night.  I gossiped with neighbors too!!!

Today I will attend services at Plainview Jewish Center.

I am grateful to the Almighty for my new freedom.

GRATEFUL FOR LEARNING WHO I AM

I am grateful to the Almighty because I continue to learn WHO I AM!!!!!

Yesterday was July 4th!!!  It was an amazing day!!!  I practiced meditation and yoga.  I walked.  I paid bills.  I went to the pool and sat outside with Matzah.  I hung out with friends at the pool and actually went in the water.

I KNOW THAT I AM FREE OF THEM!!!!!   I CAN BE ME!!!!  I so felt this at the pool where the creature would come just to stare and then leave........

Today is a cloudy day so it's great that I went to the pool yesterday.  I will meditate and practice yoga and then there are chores to do as it's before the Sabbath.

I feel that the Almighty has blessed me with a good life and I am grateful.

GRATEFUL FOR A HAPPY LIFE

I am so grateful to the Almighty because I have a happy life.

Yesterday Oscar, my new gardener came and did a beautiful job on my lawn.  He is coming back today to complete the job.  I could cry because the lawn is becoming mine.  I was able to walk for an hour in the morning and then in the afternoon.  I handled in my first four summaries of books for the Plainview Summer Reading Club.  I also went to PJC and paid for Charles Wasserman's retirement party.  I was NEVER able to attend those parties.

Tom the landscaper from Hicks came with a design for my Zen Garden which will begin at the end of July.  It's going to be amazing.

I went out to dinner with Karen too.  We had a blast!!!!

Today I will be visiting Remi!!!!  I can't wait to play with him.

Life is good and I am grateful to the Almighty for this.

GRATEFUL FOR THE CALM IN MY MIND, BODY AND SOUL

I am grateful to the Almighty for the feeling of calm that I have in my mind, body and soul.

Yesterday I practiced yoga in Doreen's class.  I walked for two hours.  I went to the pool.  I sat outside with a wonderful glass of wine before dinner.  

Life is so good!!!!.  I hope to walk.  I have some chores to do also. My new gardener is coming today as well as Tom the landscaper to begin my Zen garden.  Freddy will be here too.  I am having dinner with Karen.

I am changing the house and land around it because it my new home.

Thank you Almighty for the fun, peace and calm in my mind, body and soul.
