GRATEFUL FOR SEASONAL TRANSITION

I am grateful to the Almighty because He has helped me practice seasonal transitions.

Yesterday was a case in point.  It was the holiest Sabbath of the year, the one between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur.  I went to services and to kiddush. I was able to have a perfectly wonderful day because I practiced being STRONG and CALM and QUIET.  I was able to really enjoy the day.  I walked after services and I read quietly.  In the evening I did some chores and then had a good night's sleep.  I answered questions with not too much information. I was proud of me.

Today I will practice yoga and walk at The Hoe Depot since it is raining.  We will visit Hilary too.  My intention today is to SURRENDER.....ACCEPT and LET IT GO and all the while be very quiet.

It's working.  He is an expert in needling and bantering BUT doesn't have the slightest idea as to what to do with quiet.  In the season with less light and less time outdoors and less energy this is definitely the way to go.

I am grateful to the Almighty because I learned about seasonal transitions.

Thank you.

GRATEFUL FOR LEARNING ABOUT SEASONAL TRANSITION

I am grateful to the Almighty because He sent me to practice yoga.

We discussed seasonal transitions in class yesterday.  I learned that as Fall and Winter approach we have less energy because there is less sunlight.  It is at these times that we must use Language and Visualization to stay alert.

It is a great technique for me because as the weather changes I will be indoors more and he will be there.

Yesterday I chose the word Strong which helped me through the day.

My Mindfulness Meditation class is awesome.  The homework that Debbie gives helps me to re-group each day and have a peaceful great nights sleep.

I am grateful to the Almighty for all that I am learning to keep me safe.

Thank you Almighty.

I am grateful.

GRATEFUL THAT THE ALMIGHTY WATCHES OVER ME

I am grateful to the Almighty because He watches over me.

Yesterday my older one had a polyp removed from her uterus.  All went well.  He was silent most of the day and that didn't rattle me in the least.  I did everything that I usually do and more.

He did the same thing this morning.  He even tried to start a confrontation.  In my Mindfulness Meditation and Stress Reduction class, as homework,  I was asked to choose an attitude of mindfulness to work on through the week.  I chose ACCEPTANCE.  Thru yoga, I have learned to SURRENDER, then ACCEPT that which I cannot as I acknowledge the facts, and ONLY THEN can you LET GO OF THAT WHICH DOESN'T SERVE YOU so you can heal.

That is exactly what I did.

I  walked for two hours as usual. I practiced yoga.  A hair blowout will happened in the afternoon followed by some chores.  I completed my homework for my Mindful Meditation class.  I'm reading a good book for the Yoga Book Club.

Life is good.

I appreciate it.

I am grateful to the Almighty for my life and for watching over me.

Thank you.

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW DAY

I am grateful to the Almighty for giving me a new day.  I am healthy.  I am happy.  I am looking forward to today's adventures.

I had a wonderful day yesterday.  I walked.  I practiced yoga.  I needed to go to Solomon's, F.V. Cleaners and Fairway.  Matzah went for a grooming.  I am reading a wonderful new book. Last night I attended the third session of Mindful Meditation and Stress Reduction.  It was awesome and we got a new CD to practice Mindful Yoga to.

Today I will walk and practice yoga.  I will purchase a black cross-body bag at Michael Kors and look in LuLuLemon.

I'm getting a "senior" picture taken of me courtesy of the county.

I am grateful for another new day.

Thank you Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR A SPIRITUAL HOLIDAY

I am grateful to the Almighty because I had a beautiful spiritual holiday and I hope that my prayers will be answered.

The weather was beautiful.  I truly enjoyed the services and mindfully paid attention to all the prayers.  I spoke to my my friends too!  The meals are prepared were eaten quietly.  I was even able to walk, to read, to just be.

He tried very hard to disrupt the holiday.  From his "fuck you" I'm leaving to his trying to discuss the Rabbi's speeches so that he could vent he continued to disrupt.  He didn't speak to anyone and no one spoke to him.  I didn't care.  They weren't invited as usual as they choose not to be respectful.  I didn't care at all.  I cut myself some slack.

There will always be waves and I was balanced.

Thank you Almighty for a wonderful spiritual holiday.

I am grateful.
