GRATEFUL FOR THE SABBATH

 I am grateful to the Almighty for He has created the Sabbath.

I've always loved the Sabbath but it was never a safe time for me when my abusers were alive.

Now it is.

I can be calm.  I can reflect on my week and all he wonderful things that I did. I can walk. I can breathe.

I went back to services at PJC a few weeks ago and found that the synagogue created a place where one can pray and be socially distant.

I am grateful for this.
