GRATEFUL FOR A NEW DAY

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has allowed me to have a new day where I am happy and healthy.

Yesterday I achieved all of my goals.  I practiced yoga in Dawn's class and learned the value of living in the present.

My hair is a beautiful shade of blue.

I bought a police officer costume to go with Charles' jailbird costume.

I'm on my way to Charles' after I drop Matzah off and boarding and practice yoga in Leslie's class.

Thank you Almighty for a new day and my health AnD happiness.

I am grateful.

GRATEFUL FOR PRACTICING YOGA

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He encouraged me to practice yoga and it has been a wonderful help in my life.

After that horrific visit with Stephen yesterday.......I needed to stretch and so I practiced in Leslie's 6PM class and felt MUCH BETTER.

Today I will again practice in Dawn's class.  I'm getting my hair colored and having high lights put in my hair today......also I'm going to PARTY CITY to see if there is a HALLOWEEN costume for me when I go to Charles this weekend.  Otherwise I'm going as a YOGI.

Thank you Almighty for sending me to practice yoga.

GRATEFUL FOR BEING STRONG AND RESILIENT

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has made me a strong and resilient woman.

Yesterday we had a Nor'easter and I cleaned the house and started to pack because this weekend  am going to Charles.

Today my brother Stephen is visiting at 11.  We were going to take a walk BUT the weather is inclement.  He is actually coming INSIDE MY HOUSE.

Nothing really was accomplished by this visit. All we discussed were the horrific  the memories that we shared.

The visit ended 2 1/2 hours later and I went to do many errands.

I practiced yoga in the evening in Leslie's class, spoke to Charles and felt much better.

It shows you that the Almighty did make me strong and resilient.

GRATEFUL FOR S.T.O.P.

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I practiced yoga in Leslie's class yesterday.

It was there that I learned about S.T.O.P.  It was a perfect tie to learn this because my brother had called to set a walking lan for Wednesday (which may not happen because of the winds after the Nor'Easter today) and I was thinking about him in a very negative way after all he had done or not done since The Creature died.

S.T.O.P. lets you Stop and BREATHE and OBSERVE and PAUSE before you make a final decision. Thinking about this calmed me down and allowed me to make a choice that was appropriate for me.

I will walk with my brother and study him........MY CHOICE.

I am grateful to the Almighty for encouraging me to practice yoga.

GRATEFUL FOR LAUGHING

 I am grateful to the almighty because He sent Charles into my life and Charles makes me laugh.......not because of him but because of the crazy situations we get ourselves into.....like in the dog park yesterday!!!

We couldn't have had more fun!!!!  We came home to Afternoon Delight.  I made dinner and we watched Succession......an amazing day!

GRATEFUL FOR A PARTNER

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has seen fit to make sure that Charles and I met and we became partners.

I am proud to be with him.  Last night we went to dinner at Golden Temple with Rhonnie and Hank and then to see Lara and the Arc Tones at PJC.  I was proud to be with him and walk around with him.

Today we slept late and had a relaxing Sunday.

Thank you Almighty for the special gift of a partner.

GRATEFUL FOR LITTLE ADVENTURES IN MY LIFE

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the little adventures in my life.

I am free to change things up and enjoy myself.

I learned this yesterday as I practiced yoga in Leslie's class.

Today is the Sabbath and I will attend services at PJC. Tonight is a concert at PJC.  It's Lara Hope and the Arc Tones.  Charles and I are going and we are also having dinner with Rhonnie and Hank. 

Charles will be coming for the weekend.  Who know the adventures we will have?

GRATEFUL FOR A NEW DAY

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I have awoken to a new bright and beautiful day.

I am waiting for the Verizon guy to arrive to fix my television.

I hope to practice yoga, walk and get my hair blown out.

Tonight is Shabbos.....my day of rest.

Charles arrives tomorrow.

I am grateful to the Almighty for my happy and healthy life.

GRATEFUL FOR A WONDERFUL VACATION

 I am grateful to the Almighty for the wonderful vacation that I had with Charles.

This morning when he left to play golf at 7AM he woke me with kisses to again thank me for a wonderful vacation.

Indeed it was wonderful.......Main Street put us back in the 1960's.  We went to Smith College to the Botanical Garden and the Art Museum.  What a beautiful campus.  I bought my usual hat, bear and coffee cup.  We went to Calvin Collidge's Presidential Library and to a Beer Can Museum which is housed with a bar.  We walked the Central Massachusetts Rail Trail. It was wonderful and I enjoyed every moment.

We make a great couple too.

The Almighty sent me a wonderful man.

Thank you Almighty.

GRATEFUL FOR MY ENERGY

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me the energy to enjoy life.

Yesterday I walked, practiced yoga and did a variety of chores and errands.

I had dinner with my friend Karen.  We always have a great time together.

Today I will attend services at PJC.  I will walk. Matzah will be boarded because Charles and I will be going to Northampton for a vacation.

We will be back on Wednesday to be able to play Bingo with Sisterhood.

Thank you Almighty for the energy that I have to be able to do all these things.

I am grateful.

GRATEFUL FOR THE STRENGTH IN ME

 I am grateful to the Almighty for all the strength in myself that He has given me.

I am FINALLY learning not to react to TRIGGERS and that is a wonderful thing.

I had a wonderful time hiking and hanging out with Charles and his former girlfriend Jane on Wednesday.

Yesterday I practiced yoga and walked as I have been doing all week.  I am finally getting my weight under control at plus five pounds before it expands.

Today I will complete my errands and pack a bit more for the trip that Charles and I are taking to Northampton Massachusetts starting on Sunday morning.

I am grateful to the Almighty for the strength that He has given me.

I am grateful to the Almighty for the growth that I see in myself.

GRATEFUL FOR UNDERSTANDING STRESS

 I am grateful to the Almighty because I exercised in Leslie's Tuesday exercise class and I learned more about streets.

I went to the periodontist yesterday and I have to return on November 17 as I have a few pockets that need to be cleaned out. I got a good nights sleep because whenever I got up to worry about this, I breathed and felt much better.

I walked.  I read the newspapers too.  I attended a ZOOM SISTERHOOD MEETING and spoke to Charles.

This morning I'm driving out to his house to walk.

The day should be beautiful.

I am grateful to the Almighty for learning to be in control of my stress.

GRATEFUL FOR LEARNING TO BE LIKE A TREE

 I am grateful to the Almighty because Charles and I practiced yoga yesterday and it was there that Leslie spoke of how a tree grows.

A tree sheds its bark the same way that a human MUST LET GO OF THAT WHICH DOESN'T SERVE YOU SO THAT CAN HEAL!!

That so resonated with me especially after meeting up accidentally with my brother on Saturday.

I am going to try to make this work.

Charles took me to breakfast at the diner and then he was off and I was off to clean the house, walk have dinner with Rhonnie and Barbara and play MahJong.

At home I spoke to Karen and Charles and then it was bedtime.

Today I will practice yoga, read and walk.

I also have a periodontal appointment.

Hope all goes well.

GRATEFUL FOR THE ALMIGHTY WATCHING OVER ME

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He watches over me.

Charles came for the weekend and we had a wonderful time. We went to a dinner party at Cathy's and were up until 1AM!!!!  Sunday we made a list of tourist attractions that we would like to see in Northampton.....our vacation for next week.  WE caught up on Succession and I was able to read.

Saturday I took a walk and I bump into my brother Stephen and all the old triggers came back. I'm so glad that I distanced from him.  He had the nerve to say that I got fatter....shades of what happened to me in the past with my mother.

Today Charles and I will practice yoga and have brunch.  He will go home and I will come back to clean.

Tonight's dinner and Man Jong.

I am grateful to the Almighty for watching over me.

 I am grateful to the Almighty because today is the Sabbath.

I will be going to services at PJC.

Charles is coming for the weekend.

I have been walking as well as practicing yoga. I'm very proud of me. It's time to put the oldie back in place....cut down on sweets and exercise.

GRATEFUL FOR MY HEALTH

 I am grateful to the Almighty because He has given me good health.

Yesterday was a wonderful day filled with reading, shopping, talking to friends and walking.

It was also the night of the Sisterhood Book Club.

I am healthy and happy and able to enjoy all these things.

I had a really good vacation.

I'm home.......time to start the day!

There is food shopping to do.....bills to pay, walking to do, setting up tomorrows yoga class, a doggie to pick up and a life to live.

I will be at services at PJC.

Charles is coming and tomorrow is our vacation at the Emerson Resort and Spa.

GRATEFUL FOR MY HOME

I am grateful to the Almighty because I feel content and happy in my home.

Yesterday I awoke to read newspapers, have breakfast and read my book in my home. What a wonderful joy that was......to have peace and quiet in my home.  I went to Athleta and bought clothes with my gift cards for our trip {Charles and mine} to The Emerson Resort and Spa.  We will be leaving early Sunday morning.  I also went to the Huntington Mall to purchase makeup.  Then it was home to walk and a delicious dinner....with phone calls from Charles and Karen.

Today I have some errands to do and then pack for my wonderful vacation.

Thank you Almighty for my life.
