Today Charles and I went to have brunch at The French Connection and posted pictures on Facebook. I received a birthday card from Anita......."to my sister-in-law.....NEVER WAS I EVER CALLED THAT BEFORE. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL CARD!!!

I did it for years because I had nothing else. It's the same way that I kept too much money in Chase bank because there was no one in my life.
Now there's Charles. I'm in love. We're getting married before the end of the year. Yesterday we took Ian's class on The Book of Hebrews. I enjoy that class very much! I will be looking into other things to do.....another book club......a memory workshop. I'm too bright to just waste away!! We also have an appointment with Charles's lawyer for his pre-nuptial.

Services were wonderful and there was a delightful luncheon in the Sukkoh.
Charles will be here at 2PM. I will be driving him to Anita's as he and Anita and Elizabeth will be flying to New Orleans and Biloxi to visit relatives. He will be back on Tuesday and staying over at my house. Wednesday we will be taking our Bible class.

In between we watched a Met game and a Yankee game and The Penguin.
Charlie really helped me to deal with issues with Hilary. He said the same thing as Judith. I am blessed to have him in my life.

Remi is coming for an overnight. We are picking him up in my car service. Hilary is signing the beneficiary document.....not without protest....but doing it for Remi. The money is for Remi to inherit....not her. She also does not want to have Charles called Grandpa because "her daddy was the father and grandpa even though she was conceived by artificial insemination. Did I get upset???? Nope!!!! Why??? Because one has to accept that which you cannot change and move on!!! I'm very proud of me.
I'm hoping to bring Remi to services tomorrow. We hope to see a football game at Chaminade and then show him where his mother grew up, where Charlie grew up and where I grew up. We hope to go to Gabby's too.

It was a lovely weekend. We went to a German Festival in Smithtown and then walked to see the devastation that the rainstorm/flood and destroyed dams had on Blydenburgh Park.
We went to All Souls Church because they have a new reverend.
We cooked dinner for both nights. I walked. Charlie watched football and in the evening we watched 60 Minutes and Episode 1 of The Penguin.
Today I will clean the house and play Mahjong.

We went to the pool on Tuesday and had a fabulous time there. We ate on the deck. I made chicken. Madalyn and I slept together.

It was a wonderful day. We went to the butcher, to Trader Joe's and put gas in my vehicle. Madalyn had flushed paper towels down the toilet and Karen and Bob came to the rescue. I spoke with Judith too. We went to the pool and again it was a beautiful day so we ate on the deck.
Thursday:
It was another wonderful day. We brought Matzah in for his medicinal bath. We went to Incredible Feet and bought Madalyn sneakers. We picked up my medication and found the Claire's Jewelry that Madalyn wanted. Madalyn got a manicure and had a haircut and blowout at ID. We picked up the dog and we are going out to dinner. Dinner was wonderful. We went to Golden Temple and had a great time.
Friday:
Madalyn and Dana went home. Their vacation is over. I will miss them.

Hilary hurt me a great deal when after Charles and I chose a cemetery......she texted me that when the time comes......she may not be able to visit because it's far away from her father. I was amazed at this and hurt too. After a while I realized that this is who she has always been and I can't change her. I moved on into the moment and found myself much happier.
Yesterday was a really busy day. I got my hair blown out.......walked at The Home Depot .........bought a beautiful pair of Chanel sunglasses.....gassed up the car..... mailed a bill at the post office.....had dinner at Pasteria.

Dom texted me that I will keep Martin's pension until I die which means that I can marry Charlie if I choose to!

More later...........Remi lost a tooth when I took him to The Hicksville Diner for breakfast. We went to The Cottage Car Wash so Remi could see a vehicle et washed and The Tooth Fairy told me to take him to JB Toy Store to buy him presents and that's where we went next. Then we went to Denny's to get him a baseball cap and lastly we went to Woodbury Kosher because I was making chicken for Charles and I for dinner and Remi had never been to a butcher.
We picked up Charles at home and went to The Plainview pool to swim and hang out with Remi's mommy and daddy.
They went home and I prepared drinks and a delicious barbecue for Charlie and me.

I am now spending a week in the apartment that I share with Charlie. It's a dream come true because although I loved my condo in Westhampton it was uncomfortable because of the Creature eery time that I went there.
I came back to Plainview because Matzah needed a medicinal bath. I will return to Charlie.....our home.....and St. James tonight.
I'm so in love that as I write this I'm smiling.

Today we went out to lunch with Anita and Ray......they hadn't yet seen our apartment. It was so much fun.
Now I'm home and will be here until Thursday night when I will be leaving for St James and an Friday....out to Easthampton to vacation with Charles' children and their partners.
